Chapter 25

Things have been low key lately. We spend most of our days at the house. To my surprise Nate hasn't tried to contact me once. It made me feel uneasy, like too good to be true. Bryce and I have been in the gym almost every day for the past week just working on some strength and agility training.

One afternoon Mads and I were laying out by the pool and Bryce came over and grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder.

Bryce "Lets go sunshine. Today's day number one of actual self defense."

Me "Bryce put me down. I'm not even dressed for this."

Bryce "Is that what you're going to tell your attacker?"

I rolled my eyes and started kicking my feet.

Me "Bryce I'm going to start screaming."

Bryce "that's actually a good tactic if some one grabs you. See you're learning."

Bryce smacked his down on my ass and started walking inside.

Me "Maaddss help me" I yelled as i couldn't hold my laughter in.

Bryce "Yeah Mads come along. It wouldn't hurt to teach you a thing or two either."

As we made our way into the house we passed Jaden sitting down to eat.

Bryce "Lets go bud. We're going to teach these ladies a few things today."

Jaden got up and followed. Him and Mads exchanged a few words and then we made it into the gym. Bryce already had floor mats laid out. He set me down onto the ground.

Me "Bryce we're not doing this in bikinis."

Bryce "Fine."

He took off his shirt and threw it at me.

Bryce "Jaden give the little lady yours."

He did as he was told.

Me "I mean Mads at least if we have to do this we have a nice view."

She blushed as she looked at Jaden shirtless. The boys were both in really good shape and were quite nice to look at. Before I could even finish my next thought Bryce swiped my feet out from underneath me and I landed on the floor. Without even blinking he was on top of me pinning my hands to the ground over my head and his hips putting pressure on mine. He leaned down and stopped right before his lips were touching mine.

Bryce "Lesson one, don't get distracted."

Me "It's kind of hard to do when your attacker looks like you." I smirked at him.

He closed the gap and quickly kissed my lips. When he did that I gathered my feet under my knees for leverage and pushed up with my hips rolling him off of me to the side. Now I was on top pinning him to the ground. I got down to his face.

Me "lesson one, don't get distracted."

Bryce "oh you play dirty."

I got up off of Bryce quick because I didn't want to make the others feel awkward. All together we started to learn some of the basics. Jaden and Mads seem to really hit it off once they broke the ice.

We were working on things for about an hour or so and my attention span was thinning. Mads and I made a little plan to surprise attack the boys. So when they weren't looking we jumped on to their backs and held on. They both quickly had us flipped onto the mats and then I heard Jaden yell.
