We would wake, eat, learn, play a little, eat, test, sleep. That was our schedule for the past two months. It gradually began to change. There was less time to play, our studies intensified, we began physical exercises. It didn't help that my neck shock got worse, but for some reason I didn't tell anyone.
It all changed in steps.
They were training us to be tools.
To be weapons.

“You’re results will be in by supper.”
The doctor said to me after taking my fifth test that day.My lessons were over for the day, and I had no other test to take that day, so I decided to go see my friends.
“Look who finally decided to show up.” Ash had a sly look on her face as I walked into the room.
They were playing all playing cards on the floor of Ash and Gemma’s room, wherever they got the cards from. The third room mate was still taking her tests according to Gemma, so we had some time to ourselves.
“Has anyone studied for the history test tomorrow?” classic Melanie.
“Girl, who’s gonna examine us once we’re outta here? I bet we’re gonna have to start school from scratch again.” Gemma answered.
They were all thinking the same thing. These men, whoever they were, were never gonna let us go. If they were, it was going to be under some serious terms.
No one spoke for a while, and when their other roommate walked in, the rest of us needed to leave.
Melanie walked ahead of us, looking more down than usual. It must’ve concerned Katy, because she took it as her responsibility to stand up for everyone.
Katy grabbed my hand and slowed her pace to a crawl. She wanted to talk about something serious;
“What is it Katy?”
“I’ve been planning to get outta here…”
Typical flow of events... I think?
“How exactly would you do that? We haven’t been outta of this facility. We don’t even know where we are.”
“I intend to find out information as I go. I already know they don't plan to send us back home, that much is obvious.”
Oh, She was being serious.
Of course over the days I'd found out that Cameron had installed a few cheats, if you'd call them that, into my panel, like the map of the facility. The more I explored and went to labs, the more it revealed. But I didn't tell them that.
I guess I'm a little stingy like that.
But stingy in a good way.
“If you don’t want in on this, you can go ahead living your life like their little puppy dog.”
She left me and walked ahead to catch up to Melanie.
Its not like I wasn't fighting my own battles with the place. I still hadn't told them much about Cameron and definitely nothing about my tingling neck, but it didn't mean I was protecting the facility.
