“I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night it's true,
I will rescue you.”

"Which is why this is a one way trip." She said.

I blinked.

Katy lunged.

"No!"

Blade broke flesh.

Melanie screamed.

They fell over.

They fell over...?

"Katy!" I forced my legs to move for the edge. I was ready to jump. I was going to jump. But the roof gave way.

The building was collapsing.

"Shika!"

I snapped my head to spot Cameron and Addie. I whipped out my blade towards Cameron to pull myself up, but something deflected it and I fell towards the ground with the building.

I intend to find out information as I go. I already know they don't plan to send us back home, that much is obvious.

...

Stop running.

...

Please don't run.

...

“...At least don't run from me.”

My eyes shot open. I was lying on my left side in a pile of rubble. I was alive.

But why was I remembering those things Katy said?

I grunted as I felt a tug from my right foot and a pain ricocheted up my side. Something started to soak through my pants to my ankle and I realize there was a damned roofclinger's tongue wrapped round it.

I grabbed my tanto and sliced the slimy tongue, "I really hate these..." I mumbled and unwrapped the remaining part off me.

I tried to get up and another pain shot through my side.

"Cam," I say into the com, "I might've broken something."

Static.

"Here's me praying it's just dust..." I muttered to myself.

Judging from the rubble, I had fallen through the center of the building, but luckily I wasn't crushed like the doomed and their varying limbs.

That's when I remembered what happened.

Katy.

A pole was sticking out of a block of concrete. I placed my hand on it and sent a pulse of lightning, blasting the rubble off. A ringing remained in my ears, my body suddenly felt drained. At least I had a good walking stick.

"Wow." I froze at the sound, "You're parents were annoying and all. But you are extremely vexatious."

Cursing my luck as I slowly stand, I face Hector, all tattered and still crazed looking. He had blood splattered all over his dark clothes, but it wasn't black.

It was all scarlet red.

"I was having the time of my life destroying their facility in the mountains, when I hear that the behemoth is loose and you," he raised his spiked, wrecking ball at me, "You and that no good Cameron are after it. By the way..."
