-I should stop trying to warn you. You never listen to me on time and we always end up blacking out, something we need to avoid-

How is that my fault?

-You choose to not listen. I'm here to help, and you refuse the help, which by the way, is very typical of you-

Well forgive me if this whole thing is a little new.

-Stop pouting. Get up.-

What?

-I said get up-

Maybe you should work on your attitude.

-Listen for once and get the heck up!-

My eyelids opened slowly. First opening halfway before they closed again.

Who was I speaking with?

Halfway again. Closed again.

It isn't the first time I've heard this voice in my head.

Halfway...

-Okay wake up-

My eyes shot open and I tensed my arms out of habit. Two sharp pains shot to my shoulders. I hissed and stared at my elbow joints. There were needles in each arm, one of them leading to a drip and other collecting a blood sample. Something was in my nose, a cannula I think? I was on a bed in a small room, with a window above me, to the left.
Something shifted in the corner and I saw a shadow. I bolted up, instantly regretting the decision as the needles were ripped from my arms and blood dropped down to the floor.

The shadow came closer and the first thing I recognized were the silver-blue eyes, the silver eyes like mine. It was the fourth lieutenant.

He bent down and picked the needles off the floor, placing them in a tray before grabbing a cloth and wiping away the blood. I sat there the whole time, only looking at his eyes. They were just so familiar.

-Freak-

Shut up. I told whatever voice was in my head before someone else rudely disturbed us.

"My Gosh Jokul! Whatcha do that for?!" The person appeared next to the bed and eyed my arms. It was Linda.

"Whoooop~ The crazy girl's awake!"

"Trent shut up!" Jadis said, walking in behind him.

The guy I took to be Jokul stepped away from me and let Linda take over, before resuming his place in the corner. Trent tried to poke me but had his hand smacked away by Linda and his ear pulled on by Jadis. He was so high maintenance.

"How you feeling love?" Linda asked me, her accent suddenly changing to a deep British one.

I took a deep breath but it was a bit too quick, the cold air from the cannula slightly hurting my lungs. Linda noticed my discomfort and pulled it out for me. I took a few calmer breaths before finally feeling a bit better.

"How you feeling?" She asked, her sudden change in tone and accent still catching me off guard.

A hum was all I could currently muster. Jadis looked at me from above her glasses and I saw her eyes, a deep, blood red, they freaked me out.

"How'd you do that?" Trent agreed excitedly bouncing up and down.

"I'm pretty sure you'd be the last person she'd tell." Jokul said.
