Titan Training

~Third person~

Shika walked out from her combat training, looking better than she actually felt. Combat training wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, not after all she endured in the labs[...] She was actually becoming pretty good.

"Yo!"

Shika didn't bother turning around. She knew who it was and frankly didn't care.

"Yoo-hoo! Slow down will you?" She felt a hand grapple her shoulder and pull her to a stop. But she ignored it again.

-Ouch! Rejection...-

Shut up. She said to Rukia.

She was cranky and definitely not in the mood when Gemma turned her around to face her. She had gotten less girly, more pushy and a tad bit overprotective of the place than Shika was comfortable with.

"I said slow down! Geez." Her blue eyes stared straight into the silver blue pair for a minute, as if she was trying to figure her friend out.

"What?" Shika asked, finally getting annoyed and impatient.

Gemma gave a deep sigh and shook her head, "One of the lieutenants want to meet you."

"Which one?"

"Lieutenant Flaremont."

Shika hissed while Gemma walked on. Flaremont would be Jadis, and that was the one lieutenant she didn't want to meet today.

Not after what happened in the past week.

Making sure that Gemma was out of sight, she turned in the opposite direction, pulling out her panel for the map of the place. She looked at it and stared at the building marked with three question marks.

She had her eye on that one for a while.

It was getting late as she approached the building. She had to pass by one of the commander offices. She had to be stealthy, but ever since her lucid dream seven days ago, she'd been avoiding sleep. And this made her more sluggish than usual. She was just about to get by when a hand clamped over her mouth and pulled her into the shadows.

"That's not really the reaction I expected from a Titan candidate."

Shika groaned and rolled her eyes when the person released her. A smug, cocky smile plastered all over his face as his lightning blue eyes glinted from amusement. Cameron folded his arms and leaned back against the wall as he waited for a response from Shika.

"What do you want?" She asked, her eyes glazing over in slight anger.

"Just curious to know why you aren't following orders and seeing Jadis." He replied with an even wider grin.

"Linda's not here, and there's no way I'd be caught dead in the same room as Jadis without Linda again."

Cameron smiled and watched her walk on with purpose. Deciding to follow wherever she was going, out of curiosity, he walked just a few steps behind her. But when she arrived at the door, Cameron grappled her hand and pulled her back to face him, making her hiss and turn around.

"What now?" She asked through clenched teeth.

In the little over seven months that Cameron had gotten to— sort of— know her, she had never been this agitated, this annoyed. Not that he could remember.
