Alison flew at me and pulled me off Del, yelling at her like a yappy and annoying dog biting at her ankles. All previous onlookers were now bored and mad at the person who had broke up the kiss. I felt sexually frustrated, I was finally getting what I craved, and then this little bitch had to get involved.
"Alison you don't fucking own me! we're not a couple I can kiss whoever the hell I want it's none of your business!"
Del was shouting and Alison was mad, she wouldn't stop shoving Del and I could see her struggling to hold her anger in as well. If she hit her one more time, I was afraid Del would explode, so when she slapped Del across the face, not only did I then want to smack her, I knew Del wanted to floor her. The tall blonde looked livid, and she lunged for Alison, but an even taller skinny guy grabbed Del's wrist and pulled her back whilst I snatched Alison out of the firing zone.
"Tanner get off me! I can handle her."
"I know," the guy muttered in response. "That's what I'm worried about." I realised he must have been her brother, they looked so alike and she said he would've been out tonight. Alison turned round and started trying to have a go at me, but I shut her down fast, so she turned back to Del.
"You're a drunk mess, I never want to see you again!"
"Good!" Del slurred. Alison was right, she was looking particularly drunker than earlier, it was really starting to hit her, Tanner was basically holding most of her weight now. Alison shoved me on her way out, and I ignored her, walking up to Del, Tanner eying me curiously.
"I'll see you tomorrow Del," I whispered in her ear, touching her arm.
She nodded and planted a brief kiss on my mouth, before leaning into Tanner. I nodded at him and he smiled, thanking me for looking out for her. Sasha was already waiting outside in the car for me, wondering what was taking so long. She screamed like a banshee when I told her me and Del kissed, and I winced, covering my ears.
"I'm raving, but what about Sofia? You've been horny about her for weeks!"
"I know," I groaned. "Kissing Del was so damn good though, I wanna do it all over again."
"I cannot believe her ex barged in on you like that, sounded like you were having a proper moment."
"I'm just gonna have to forget about it, she went home practically paralytic and now I'm sexually frustrated," I huffed. Sasha let out a peal of laughter.
"You're such a player Lana, keep it in your pants until tomorrow, when you can be reunited with your two lovebirds." My eyelids started drooping, car rides always put me to sleep. I remember getting dragged in by Sasha, and that was about it until the harsh sound of my alarm woke me up.
My head was splitting, so I dragged myself into a dark blue blouse and slacks. I couldn't be bothered to deal with a skirt today. I rolled into the kitchen, and Sasha plonked some Advil in front of me with some coffee to wake me up. I gratefully grinned at her through my pain, and gulped the pills down.
"I should just marry you, it would make things so much easier. You treat me like a queen, don't fuck with my feelings and we already live together."
"Great well that's a hard pass Cassanova, males are my one and only."
"Damn you men," I sighed, running my hands through my dark brown tresses.
"By the way, we're going to that club again tonight."
I spat out some of my coffee in response and looked at her like she was nuts.
"Don't look at me like that, I didn't get to come with you and Del last night, plus Matt picked up Bulldozer earlier when you were still passed out."
"Right well whatever, if my liver implodes that's on you." I snatched my keys off the counter and took my coffee with me, trying to keep my eyes open on the way to work. I massaged my temples, opened the front doors, and they dropped closed on me. A huge cackle came from the front desk, and I glared at Rupert.
"Hello hungover, nice to see you too," he called, and I gave him the finger with a grin as the elevator doors closed. Trying not to fall through Sofia's door was a challenge, especially in heels and with a hot coffee. She raised her eyebrows as I entered, eyes half closed.
"You look remarkably like Del did when I saw her earlier, did you two go out last night by any chance?" She had a teasing undertone to her voice, and I closed my eyes, sitting down heavily in my chair.
"Maybe."
"I'm glad you had a good time, was my club to your liking?"
"Yeah, it was so cool my stupid mouth wouldn't shut up about it, so my roommate's dragging me out to it again tonight."
"Oh dear, good luck." She looked impressed at my dedication. "I hope you will be well enough for your hours this Saturday and Sunday?"
I grimaced and nodded. They were reduced hours, and she did explain that this wouldn't be every week, just the first couple since there was so much work to catch up on.
"Well add ringing the Dragon's Lair to your job list then, tell them you're on my staff team and they'll pretty much do anything for you for free."
"Why are you so nice to me?" I asked genuinely, causing her to look up at me in surprise.
"You work hard and it sounds like you had a hellish night, so I'm hoping tonight will be better for you considering everything will be free."
"I think you might be my new favourite person," I pondered, causing her to giggle lightly at my advances. I got on with some work for a bit but couldn't stop thinking about going to see Del, so I just gave up and did that instead.
"Hey sunshine," she smiled as I entered the closet.
"How're you feeling, my fellow alcoholic?" I questioned, an evil grin on my face. She put her head in her hands and chuckled.
"Not great. Hey I'm so sorry about last night, we were having such a good time and then Alison came along and I passed out and..."
She faltered, exhaling and looked at me apologetically.
"No bother, I did have a good time, I'm just glad you're ok."
"I don't know how to make it up to you," she groaned.
"Stop worrying!" I laughed. "I'm going out again tonight with Sash, she's complaining about how she missed out yesterday. It won't be nearly as fun without you." I pouted, but her eyes lit up, like she had an idea.
"I know how to make it up to you," she growled in an incredibly seductive voice which caused my headache to subside immediately, the Advil finally in full swing.
She whipped out the green dress and thrust it at me.
"You can't be serious."
"Try it on! Sofia won't notice if it's gone for one night," she scoffed in response to my discomfort.
She tried to herd me into it and I eventually gave in, sliding the incredibly silky fabric over my body. Del clapped her hands together and her eyes were bright. I stood in front of a mirror, and was surprised at my reflection. The v-neck drew special attention to my cleavage, and the lace panels which ran down the length shaped my body perfectly. Del appeared behind me, looking at my reflection with lust in her eyes.
"You look better in that than Sofia ever did," she purred, checking out my ass and I turned around, looking up at her with a satirical expression on my face.
"Thanks Del, you might wanna pick that jaw back up if you were thinking of getting any more work done today."
"Well ok then," she replied, looking about prior to swiping a fast kiss before I could do anything about it and slapping my ass when walking out the door. Was she wearing cherry chapstick? That was my signature thing! Well, Katy Perry's but whatever. I slid out of it and folded it up, taking it down to my car and carefully placing it in my boot. I wasn't sure what had gotten into me, but I just couldn't put it back where I found it after I saw it on my body. I had to wear it just once. When I returned back upstairs, Sofia was not at her desk anymore, she probably went out to do a few things. I took the liberty to spritz some more perfume and continued with my work. Despite the air conditioning, I was still hot and it was making me drowsy. I yawned and placed my pen down, looking outside at the city.
