Psalm 90

God is Alpha and Omega, forever the same. God isn't willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance. It has always been His desire.

Our timing is not the same. One thing we can be sure of is that His timing is right and perfect. Our lives are just a vapor. Be wise and prudent. Don't lay up treasures on earth.

Who can stand in the day of His wrath? May the Lord have mercy upon us. If we know we are His, we can rejoice.

Let the beauty of the Lord radiate from His children just as the moon reflects the sun.

"Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men." Psalm 90:1-3

Matthew 14

John the Baptist was jailed for declaring sin as sin. He called Herod to repentance and was punished while a lame dance won the ruler's vast approval. Herod, much like Pilate, was willing to please the crowds.

Jesus still welcomed the multitudes. He healed them and fed them. He has compassion. Praise the Lord! What did the people do to deserve it?

Jesus showed us the example to pray for our food and not to waste, but to be frugal. Jesus also showed us the example of how to pray. Go apart. Spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone. Prayer is so important.

Jesus didn't reprimand His disciples for their fear, instead immediately speaking calm, comfort and peace. Praise the Lord!

Let us desire above all else to be with the Lord.

How often we take our eyes off of Jesus, but He is faithful still even when we cry, "Save us!" He hears and snatches us up to safety. Don't doubt. Only believe! Believe! Without faith it's impossible to please God.

Only the Creator could walk on His water, and still it.  He is most worthy to be worshiped.

Come to Him- in faith- He won't cast you out. Reach out and touch Him. Don't hold back.
