To believe is to obey! If you believe Christ, you'll obey Him. We are to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh. God's blood atones, but we're to keep ourselves clean and holy. "Be ye holy," is written over and over. We're to be in the world, but not of it! It's dangerous to be like the flow with only an, "It's Okay, I'm forgiven," attitude. Cleanse your hearts!
Psalm 74
God hasn't forsaken His children. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, unchangeable, and reliable! If He did wonders of old, He is still capable and every bit as powerful! His salvation is still offered- His mercy new every morning.
If He owns all, created all, and causes even the seasons to change, what have I to fear if I am His? How foolish to fear mortal man!
The foolish are they that blaspheme the Lord's Name. Fools, yet they are ever increasing though they reproach God daily. He sees! Be sure of that.
Let even the poor and needy praise God!
2 Corinthians 11
Cleanse yourself. Stay pure. Stay faithful. We are engaged- shame on us who flirt with death! Forgive us our unfaithfulness, Lord! Watch against deception and another gospel. The devil has his "ministers" too! Be on guard. Be vigilant. Test the spirits.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
