It's aweing how many times God has shown He is compassionate and willing to accept us if we turn from our sin and repent. His pattern of long suffering and mercy is incredible. Seek the Lord while grace is yet extended! Once you have rejected Christ long enough, you're not only a key target for delusion (2 Thessalonians 2), but run the most terrible consequence of all... God giving you up to your own lusts. Nothing is more frightening, for when God determines something, it will be so.
May we be given a fear of the Lord to reverence Him more and remembering His terror, keep us from sin.
Psalm 92
There is no worthier a service than giving honor and praise to Jesus. For all that He has done for us, it's the very least we can do. Keep our hearts and minds on Him. Adore Him all the day long. Don't just be a Sunday Christian. Morning and night be praying and praising. Regardless of the hour, He is awake and will hear!
Worship the Lord for salvation, blessings and His mighty works! It is the Lord who alone is sovereign. The wicked shall be no more. Pray for repentance now!
Those who love the House of the Lord now will be in ecstasy when at His feet we worship, nevermore to part, nor cease! The Lord is perfect, righteous and holy. He is our solid Rock.
Matthew 16
Don't be so quick to forget the promises, truths and character of God! Rely on them at all times. Remind yourself of them. Dwell on them. Strengthen your faith! Know who Jesus is! Know who you serve and worship! It is God who reveals Himself to you.
Self denial is key. If we deny our flesh, we will follow Christ. Flesh is at enmity against Jesus. Follow Christ wholly. Nothing is more vital than your relationship with Christ. Never deny the Lord. Nothing is worth eternal damnation.
Strengthen your faith now. Determine to never deny your Lord!
