Just because we're serving God even in the most humble manner, doesn't mean we are to stay "in the limelight". Our goal, as a servant of Christ, is to point others to Him. We are not to take His place as mediator or be a guru. Point to Jesus! Be sure He is their All in All. He must increase, I decrease. Pray for each new convert fervently.
Psalm 129
Who God is for, what can happen to? He safeguards His own. The Lord is Righteous and Faithful. He will preserve a remnant.
Genesis 28
Oil and water don't mix. Don't intermarry. Even as an adult, the command of God still stands: obey and honor your parents.
The spirit world (God's angels) are very active in the earth, the Lord over all. The Lord promises never to leave us. He is ever faithful and true! The Lord is omnipresent, whether we realize it or not. Be in the fear of the Lord. It is well pleasing.
Check your list of necessities. Having food, clothing and the Lord's sure promises- I have enough. Be faithful in giving.
Jeremiah 8
See the horror of judgment! It's nothing to be scoffed and mocked. Stop backsliding! God has every reason to leave you to your "pet sins". Walk fast with Him and repent. The Lord is listening and waiting... Don't reject the Word of God, it is wisdom! Don't run to the flattering words of serpent-tongued "pastors"- they teach "all is wells"... cheap grace. It's damnation to your soul! Judgment is brought upon each unpenitent sinner themselves. There is no peace or health for the wicked. They have provoked God willingly. Turn to Christ and live or perish... there is only one way.
1 Thessalonians 3
To be a servant, fellow laborer for Christ, to strive to comfort and establish others in the faith is the duty of all who claim the Name of Christ. Affirm there is tribulations to pass through. Strengthen the feeble knees. A feel good, "prosperity gospel" was never on the table. Through MUCH tribulation we enter the kingdom of God. Stand fast in the Lord. Pray daily- GIVE yourself over to prayer. Help each other grow. Increase and abound in love- sincere love- for each other. Be found IN Christ, so He may declare your heart- your inside self- unblameable in holiness. Without holiness no man will see the Lord.
