To be a child of God, you must separate from the works of darkness. They don't agree together! Walk in faith. It requires obedience and unwavering trust, knowing the One you are following is true.
Do all the good you can. Cheer each other on. Be kind. Edify and support. We all need encouragement. Serve each other with godly love and hospitality. Seek, not to draw glory and attention, but to serve humbly, following Jesus' example. No one needs training to serve. Do it cheerfully and willingly. Don't be self centered but Christ- centered (1 Peter 5:5; Matthew 25:40).
Psalm 124
All glory to God for salvation. If it were not for the Lord's grace and mercy, I'd be a dead man. In myself, I have nothing to glory of/in. Praise the Lord, He has redeemed us and broken our bonds to pieces! I have no help beside.
Genesis 22
"Here I am!" Where there is no sin/quick confession, there is no need to run and hide as Adam and Eve had from God. Abraham was fully devoted to God. He rose up early, not disobeying. He knew God to be good. He spoke in faith that he would return with Isaac. Christ's sacrifice prophesied, our glorious Substitute. Trust in the Lord. Don't doubt. Obey. He, the Possessor of Heaven and earth is still Jehovah Jireh!
Jeremiah 3
God isn't like man. He is eager to forgive, and fully and freely forgives! Don't be obstinate and hardhearted. Turn. He will yet forgive. Learn from mistakes given for our example. (Instruction, reproof). He can tell the difference between wholeheartedness and lip service. He reads our thoughts as words and knows our heart. Turn, give Him everything, your whole heart. Confess your sins.
Salvation is only in God. We need You and You alone O God! Shame on us for our rebellious sins. Confess all disobedience. Stop backsliding and seek the Lord. Leave sin before it becomes your ruin. Praise God for yet extending salvation, mercy, faithfulness and grace!
Colossians 2
Watch against deception. They are crafty. Pray for discernment. If it were possible they would deceive the very elect. Buy truth. Sell it not. Follow hard after God. Be steadfast in the faith.
Walk in Christ. Don't fall off the path. Don't grow apathetic, weary or sidetracked. Be rooted in Him. Flourish. Be always in thanks. Follow God, not man. Men are fallible. God is Truth! In Him we are complete. It is enough. Salvation full and free. All my sins are nailed to the cross, through baptism I raise to new life in Christ. I am forgiven! Who is now my accuser when I am justified in Christ? He has taken away my accusations and because He has triumphed, I do too! Praise the Lord! Jesus fulfilled all old ordinances I am complete in Him!
