Psalm 69
Without the Lord, we feel, and are hopeless in despair. It's only a faith and hope that we have a future and faith in God that gives us comfort in our daily life. We groan, in anticipation of that future day when we'll see our Saviour face-to-face. It's folly and ignorance that cause us to sin, for God sees everything. Nothing is hid from Him.
Be zealous for Christ. Buy the truth and sell it not! Never compromise. Leave all for the sake of Christ! The Lord will hear, rescue, see and deliver His own. Wait upon Him. He is merciful and of tender loving kindness. It's who He is.
Cry unto Him. Pray the Lord never leaves or turns from us. He won't. He's promised, yet, He'd still be righteous even if He did.
Thanksgiving, with humility, is God's requirement for a sacrifice. Those that seek the Lord are noted by Him, they shall see Him! He hears, He loves every one of His own. Praise Him, people, angels, and nature!
2 Corinthians 6
Don't practice cheap grace! Accept salvation now. His mercy is yet extended. These storms are a mercy-gift. He is crying out to repent before it is too late.
Make your actions as loud as your words. Don't form any type of relations or friendships with the ungodly. It will bring a snare, pain- or worse. They cannot mix! (Amos 3:3). The Lord calls for separation, sanctification, and will receive those who are holy.
He wants a deeper relationship than a Master and servants, for He has promised to be our Father, to live amongst us as a Father among His sons and daughters, adopted and accepted in the beloved.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
