Give yourself to prayer. Don't rush. Don't give halfheartedly. Devote yourself to prayer. Pray without ceasing. The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
The wicked love cursing, belittling and wishing ill. They don't care for anyone besides themselves. Let it never be said of us!
Because of Thy mercy...not my merit... deliver and save me. hear my prayer, for I'm just a worm, I can't do anything by myself.
Life is just a vapor. I've nothing but Christ to glory in, because of Him I'm saved. Without Him, I'm undone!
Praise the Lord publicly. Never be ashamed. The Lord is our Advocate - He saves us from our accusers. There is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
Genesis 7
Come and be saved! Noah obeyed with no doubt. After the final call, no more 'delay'. It was too late! God is no respecter of persons- reject Him and perish!
The Lord shut him in. Security. Safe in Christ.
Only Noah and his family were saved for they were safe in Christ.
Galatians 5
Stand fast. Be on your guard. Be alert. Be steadfast. Committed. Unmoveable. No wavering. Be faithful to the doctrine of faith. Don't be turned aside to serve another god/idol. Don't turn aside to a route of your own choosing. Don't return to sin. All these are bondage. In Christ we are free! Be sincere in your faith. Jesus is our Hope!
Faith works love to God and man. The love of God in us. The Christian life is a race. Run on! Run well! Stumble? Get up! Don't give up! Don't sit down! Don't dillydally. Run! Run with patience. Look at your Prize.
A little sin spoils all. Be careful. Be vigilant.
If we were to turn from God to please man, persecution would stop. The world hates us because it hated Christ first. Don't abuse grace. Be like Jesus. Love with the love of God. Be kindly affectionate one to another with godly love. Instead of petty fighting, fight against sin. The world is enemies with Christ and His followers. They aren't compatible. Works of the flesh: affairs, sex before marriage, uncleanness, lusting, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, disharmony, competitive, wrath, strife, disturbing the peace, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, parting etc. Those who do these won't inherit the Kingdom of God. Rather, let the Spirit dwell in you richly, producing fruits of righteousness: Love, joy, peace, long suffering, forbearance, not quick to anger, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, submissiveness, mildness, humbleness, moderation, self discipline, sobriety, temperance... who can fault these things?
Those who are new creatures in Christ have crucified their fleshly lusts, and now serve and live to please Jesus. Live and walk in the Spirit. Don't look for excessive praise of man, but seek approval of God. Don't provoke or envy each other.
