Chapter 13: "Sorry."

Ugh how dare he accused me of something I didn't do! Nakakainis talaga! In the first place bakit niya pa ako dinala doon di ba? Sa sobrang inis ko ay umalis nalang ako ng bahay.

Umorder ako ng isang hard liquor. I’m not much of a drinker pero napapainom ako dahil sa sobrang inis. Kahit na kagabi pa ‘yun ay hindi pa rin ako makaget over. Pag naiisip ko kasi ay naiinis nanaman ako!

Maingay sa buong bar. People shouting and dancing while I’m here..ano nga bang ginagawa ko? Hay, gusto ko nalang uminom to forget. 

Actually wala naman talaga sa balak ko ang magpunta dito. I left early para hindi kami makapagabot sa bahay. I went to mall and had some window shopping tapos nung wala na akong magawa that’s when I decided to go here. Anyway, kahit saan naman basta hindi sa bahay.

I stayed at the bar until I got a bit tipsy before I went to the dancefloor.

I was happily dancing when I felt some random guy is grinding on my behind. I immediately lost my interest and decided to go home instead. Feeling ko kasi nagtataksil ako kahit hindi naman.

I felt a little bit tipsy when I got home. I don’t even know how I managed to drive myself home. I know Mark will be here kasi nakita ko ang kotse niya sa parking. Unless aalis siya ng walang kotse.

I quietly open the door to our house while silently praying na sana tulog na si Mark. I’m not in the mood to talk or rather bicker and answer his questions right now. Especially na there is alcohol in my system dahil baka lalo lang lumala ang away namin.

My heart jumped out when I saw him sitting on the sofa. Madilim ang buong living room. May hawak siyang alak sa kamay niya. My eyes landed on the bottle na halos kalahati na ang bawas. Ininom niya ‘yun lahat?

Oh God! I’m so dead. You would not like to encounter with a drunk Mark, I tell you.

Hindi ko alam kung anong kinatatakot ko ngayon. It’s not like he cares. Yes, he’s my bestfriend but he never cares when I go out and coming home late.

Oh wait, because when I do, palagi ko pala siyang kasama.

Lamp lang ang tanging ilaw na bukas. It’s like he is having his moment with his whiskey right now.

He didn’t look at me when I closed the door.

My heels even clicked on the floor but he still haven't flinched even a bit. Right now, wala na akong pakialam. I just want to have a good sleep and just argue with him tomorrow.

Akala ko magagawa ko na ‘yun because he didn’t say anything so I thought he will just let me but when I was about to go to my room ay bigla siyang nagsalita.

“Saan ka galing?” Aniya sa isang malamig na boses.

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad ko. I swear he sounded like an overprotective husband right now. Puno ng awtoridad ang boses niya.
