Cherry's POV
Back at school, it's mine and Shawn's one year. I was honestly prepared for the worst. I saw him and went up to him. "Hey, look I know it's been a few weeks, but uh, happy one year." I said and smiled at him. "Cherry, look, can we talk?" He asked. I knew exactly what was coming. But I acted like I didn't know. "Um, yeah sure what's up?" I said. "I don't think we can see each other like this anymore." He said. And even though I prepared for the worse, it still felt like I got punched in the gut 100 times.
Shawn's POV
I could see the heart break in her eyes. But, I had to, I couldn't stay with her, I always lose the people I love. And I love her, so I just have to lose her now, before she leaves me in the future like everyone else. I could tell she was holding in tears. "I knew this was coming, yet it still feels like a train hit me." She laughed. She wouldn't look at me, I could tell she wanted to cry, and so did I. "See ya later Hunter." She said and hurriedly walked off. I felt like my heart had been crushed into a million pieces to see the girl I love walk away. But I had to let her go, even if I really didn't want to.
Cherry's POV
I found Topanga with Cory. I had a tear stained face. "Oh my god, Cherry what happened?" Cory asked. "T, I told you, I told you it was gonna happen, I told you he would break up with me today." I said and walked off. Topanga followed me and Cory I guess went somewhere else. I was in the powder room and I had started crying again. "Topanga, I thought I prepared myself for this. But, I wasn't ready to be left like that, i- I think I love him." I said. She hugged me tight. "Cherry I'm so sorry." She said. "It's ok Topanga, but, can I sit by you in Feenys?" I asked. "Yeah." She said. She wiped my face and we walked to class. I sat by her and Cor sat by Shawn.
Shawn's POV
"Shawn, why?" Cory came up and asked. "If this is about Cherry, Cor, I really don't wanna talk about it." I said. "Well guess what, I do. Your best friend, just came up to me and Topanga, crying her eyes out, she couldn't get a full sentence out, and then she ran to the powder room, Topanga had to run after her." He said, sounding mad. "Cory! I couldn't do it!" I said. "I can't love her, if I love her, she'll leave. But guess what, I love her, so I let her go before she could decide to leave." I said. "Shawn, you love her. And I think she loves you." He said. "Yeah, now! What happens in the future?" I asked. "I don't know, but I do know, that leaving Cherry was wrong." He said and walked off.
