Shawn's POV
It was exactly one week until junior prom and Cory had officially convinced me to ask Cherry. I had gotten her favorite candy, happy colas, and I had the bag in my hand while Cherry was talking to Topanga at her locker. She was wearing the outfit she wore on the day we met, and she looked so beautiful. I went up to her and hugged her waist. "Hey." She said and leaned into me. "I got something for ya." I said and handed her the bag. "Aww Shawn, these are my favorite, I can't believe you remembered. What's the occasion?" She asked smiling. "How would you feel if I asked you to junior prom?" I asked her. "I would feel like that's more Cory and Topanga's thing, but I wouldn't be totally against it." She smiled, she opened the bag and started eating the candy. "Want one?" She asked. "Cherry Li, will you be my date to junior prom?" I asked.
Cherry's POV
He asked, oh my god, he asked, Topanga was right! I jumped on him. "Yes, I will be your date to Junior prom." I said and kissed him. He let me down but we kept kissing. "Your breath smells like happy cola." He said after pulling away. "Hmm I wonder why?" I said and ate a few more. Then I shoved the rest in my backpack and we went to class. We got into class and he went to Cory's desk as I went to Topanga's. "He asked! And obvi I said yes!" I squealed. "I told you! Also, we are getting ready together and we are gonna blow their minds." She said and we laughed.
Shawn's POV
"Cor, I did it, I asked her." I said proudly. "Really Shawnie?! I'm so glad, wait- She said yes right?" He said. "Yeah Cor, She said yes." I smiled and looked down at the ground. "That's great Shawnie, now we get to get ready and shop for it together!" He said way too enthusiastically. "Yep. Fun." I said and we started class. I was staring (not creepily, but like, lovey dovey) at Cherry, and she looked at me and caught me. We laughed and Mr Feeny of course got onto us. Oh, how I love her.
