38: all the talks

Shawn's POV
I nervously followed Cherry's Uncle J into the game room. I was followed by Cherry and her Aunt K. Cherry went and leaned against the wall while her aunt and uncle sat me down at the table. "Now, if you are datin my little Cherry girl, then you better know, if you ever hurt her, I'll fly down to Philly, and personally, beat you to a pulp." Her Aunt said. "I'm with the wife on this one. Cherry is very important to us, don't you ever hurt her little boy." Her uncle said. "I would never dream of hurting her. Not only is she my girlfriend, but she's my best friend, and I don't think I could ever hurt her." I said, I looked over at Cherry and she was blushing. Her aunt and uncle looked over at her and saw her bright pink cheeks. "Ok, now you get to deal with Marley." Her aunt said and walked out. "Ooh, yeah uhh, you're on your own for this one babe." Cherry smiled and left in a hurry. Marley came in and sat down right across from me. "So, you're datin Cherry." She said. "Yes ma'am." I said timidly. Truth is, Marley scares me. "Alright then, watch your back, I know my cousin, if she's hurt and she's in Philly, I can feel it. If she's hurt anywhere in the world, I can feel it. So if you ever hurt her, I will know, and I will put you six feet under Hunter." She said looking me dead in the eyes the entire time. "Yes ma'am. But, I would never hurt Cherry, I couldn't hurt Cherry. At least, never on purpose." I said. "You don't hurt her, period!" She said. "Yes ma'am!" I said scared. "Ok, that's all, buh bye now." She smiled sweetly and left. Then Cherry came in, I guess she saw my face, "babyyy." She said and sat in my lap and kissed me, "if you think that's scary, you're in for a rude awakening when Melissa and Isaac get here." She said laughing. My hands were on her waist again and she moved them to where she was holding them. "Seriously? It's gonna be worse?" I asked and put my head on her shoulder. "Yeah" She said like it was obvious. "Well, should be tons of fun then." I said sarcastically. "Yes it should." Melissa said as she walked in with isaac. "hey guys." I said quietly. "So, you and our best friend, gotta be honest, we knew this was coming, but Shawnie, if you ever, ever, hurt Cherry, I'm any way humanly possible, you will regret it, for the rest of your life. Which won't last that much longer if ya hurt her. 3 days." She said "TOPS" isaac added on and they gave me death stares. Then all the family came in. "You guys, I really do appreciate the talks and such, but, I would never dream of hurting Cherry, in any way. She's too special and important in my life." I said truthfully. She looked away, but I could tell she was blushing. "Alright, who wants to swim?!" Her Aunt K asked. We all cheered, and got ready to swim.
