Cherry's POV
Summer was really fun this year. It was my first summer in Philadelphia, and it sure wasn't as hot as it is in Louisiana, so it took a little bit of getting used to. Shawn and I got even closer over the summer, and my crush for him only grew. He stayed over at my trailer a lot, and I stayed at his every once in a while. There were a lot of all nighters we pulled with Topanga and Cory. Overall, summer was really fun, and I was actually excited for sophomore year.
Shawn's POV
Summer. Was. Amazing. I had the best time with all my friends. I even got to know Cherry a little bit more. She was as much a fighter as she was a lover. The four of us even took a road trip to Louisiana to meet some of Cherry's family. The thing that most stuck out to me was, by the end of summer, I had an even bigger crush on Cherry. And you know what, I was determined to ask her out this year. I don't even care if she says no (ok I do), but I really just have to ask.
