Shawn's POV
We got downstairs, said goodbye to Cory's parents and walked outside of the house. We rode in Cherry's truck the roller rink. We got in, paid, and got out skates. "I'm so glad you're up and having fun." Cory said to Cherry. "Me too, and I'm glad you guys are the ones I'm having fun with." Cherry said smiling. "Let's skate!" Cory exclaimed and we got on the floor. We were skating around having a good time and we just had a lotta fun being teenagers before all of our school stuff.
Cherry's POV
There was a couples skate, and we all skated next to each other and had a lot of fun. Shawn and I held hands, and he spun me around. I laughed I think more in that day than I did since before since the week before I got the phone call about my father. I was so happy, with my friends, and the boy I love. We kissed at the end. "Thank you." I whispered to him. "For what?" He asked. " for being there for me and for suggesting this roller skate double date." I laughed. "i'll always be there for you." He smiled and I made a fish face at him and he laughed. He kissed me, and I just melted under his touch. I really really love this guy.
