15: license pt 2

Shawn's POV
We had begun to drive to the DMV for Cherry to get her license, and she was kind of quiet on the way there. I noticed she had a familiar looking flannel over her black shirt. "Hey, is that mine?" I asked. She just laughed. "Maybe." She said. I laughed and turned on the blinker, so I could turn on this exit. "You know you can talk to me about anything right?" I asked. She stayed quiet for a second. "Cherry?" I said. "I know Shawnie, you don't have to remind me." She smiled at me. We got to the DMV and we went inside. We told the guy she was here to get her license. She took her test, and she got it!

Cherry's POV
As soon as the guy took my picture and printed out my license. He handed it to me and I ran to hug Shawn. "I got my license!!" I was so excited. Shawn hugged me back immediately and then he grabbed my license. "Cute picture." He said. I snatched it from him. "Shawnieeee" I said. "Cherrryyyy" he mocked me. "Can we go get T and Cory pleaseeeee." I said and stuck out a pouty lip. He laughed. "You wanna drive?" He asked me. My eyes lit up. "Gimme the keys!" I said. He walked me out of the DMV and didn't give me the keys till we reached the truck. "Can I have them now?" I asked. He held them high up above his head. I had to jump to get them. I still couldn't reach. I stood back. And then when he relaxed a bit, I tackled him. I was on top of him and then I just lied there. Looking at his ocean blue eyes. "Gotcha." I said, and grabbed the keys, which relieved some of the tension.

Shawn's POV
"Well now you have the keys, you may drive to pick up Cory and Topanga. She laughed and dragged me in the car. We drove all the way to Cory's to grab him and Topanga. When we got there she walked in and she smiled and waved the keys up in the air, and then grabbed hugs and "happy birthdays" from everyone. Then all 4 of us took off. Ughh, I couldn't wait to surprise her tonight.
