Cherry's POV
Shawn, Cory, Topanga, and I got letters from our two choice colleges. We each chose one different college and Pennbrooke. Shawn and I applied to LSU and Penn. Topanga chose Yale and Penne. And Cory chose Stanford and Penn. We were all at Chubbies, each of us holding two letters in our hands. We held our futures. The entire group already knew if I got accepted into LSU, I was going. As sad as it was for me to possibly leave my best friends, LSU is my dream college, if I got accepted, that's the one I was going to. Topanga was the first to tear open a letter. "From Pennbrooke University. I got in!" She said. We clapped happily. "Now Yale." She opened the letter carefully. She read the letter and clasped her hand over her mouth. She started crying. "T, what's wrong?" I asked. "I got in. I got in to Yale!" She said, smiling and crying. "Oh my god, T, that's amazing!" I hugged her.
Shawn's POV
It was Cory's turn. He opened the Pennbrooke letter first. "I got in." He said and opened the Stanford letter, "I'm in! Stanford!" He smiled a huge smile. I pat his shoulder, signaling I was proud of him. It was my turn, this was gonna be a real shocker if I got into college. I tore open the letter from Pennbrooke, "Shawn Hunter, we are pleased to inform you, that you are invited to attend Pennbrooke University for the next coming years!" I read. Cherry hugged me tightly. "Okay, LSU." I shrugged. "Here we go." I opened the letter. I read it quickly, and put it back in the envelope, I handed the envelope to Cherry. She opened it, and the smile on her face grew so wide. She grabbed my face and kissed me. "Alright, I'm going to college!" I said. "Okay babe, it's your turn." I said and pointed at a Cherry's letters. She looked at them anxiously.
Cherry's POV
I put the LSU letter down and opened my Pennbrooke letter. My heart stopped, "Cherry Li, we are sending this letter to inform you, you've been waitlisted." I said. I dropped the letter on the table. "I shouldn't even bother, if I got waitlisted at my second choice school, there is no way I got into my first." I slumped into my seat. "Babe, come on, open the letter." Shawn nudged. I grabbed it lazily, and opened it. I read the letter and sat up straight. My eyes widening at the contents of it. I couldn't hide my smile. "What?" Cory asked. "I got in." I whispered. "You what?" Shawn asked, I know he heard me, he just wanted me to say it louder. "I GOT IN!" I yelled and Shawn hugged me tight. "I'm going to LSU!" I beamed. "Well, we have some decisions to make." Topanga said and looked at Cory and Shawn.
