Cherry's POV
We finally arrived at the hospital, i was still crying as i ran to the front desk. "Where's nurse Jenna?" I asked, I could barely see, my vision was so blurry. "I'm right here." A lady cane up to the desk. "I'm Cherry Li, where's my father, you- you called me." I said trying to breathe and calm down. "Oh goodness, follow me honey, your friends too?" She asked. I nodded frantically. We go to the room, and my dad was there.
Shawn's POV
We got into the room, and her dad wasn't lookin good. "Daddy?" Cherry asked, still crying. "Hey baby girl." He said hoarsely. "Daddy, please, you can't leave me." She tried to hold in more tears. "I'm sorry, it's my time. All of you kids, c'mere." He gestured for us to come closer. "Cory, I've already spoken to your parents and my sister and brother in law, long before this. Cherry is under official custody of her aunt and uncle in Louisiana, but she will live with you and your family." He said. "Yes sir, we'll take good care of her." Cory said. "I know." He said. "Topanga, you're her best friend. Always, always be there for her." He pointed at her sternly. "I promise." Topanga tried to hold back tears. "Shawn. You are the number one man in my daughters life now, you never ever, let her push you away, you stay with her, you love her, never leave eachother." He said. "Always sir, you know, we are really gonna miss you." I said, beginning to cry.
Cherry's POV
"I will miss you all too." He said and gestured for the group to hug him. Which they did, because they knew it was the last one they were gonna get. "Cherry, my baby girl. I love you, more than anything in this entire world, you are my Punkin'. You're my everything, you are the thing that kept me from goin off the rails ever since your mama left." My dad said to me, holding my hand. I had calmed down, but I knew it wouldn't last long. "Daddy, I cant, please don't leave me. Please." I said, trying to hold back tears. "I love you. Never forget that. Always hold me in your heart, I will always be here, I love you." He said closed his eyes, smiling. "no." I said collapsing into Shawn, crying so hard, I could barely breathe. "I love you too, goodbye daddy." I said and continued crying. Shawn held me. I burst out of his arms and hugged my dad. After a second or two, Shawn pulled me away and held me closer, trying to calm me. And I never wanted him to let go.
