84: decisions, decisions

Cherry's POV
I already reached out to the admissions office at LSU and told them that's where I would be attending. I called my Aunt K, and Uncle J, and they were over the moon. Shawn still hadn't decided on LSU or Penn, and he only had a week left to get back to one of the admission building operator people. I hadn't been pressuring him though. Cory and Topanga had a long talk, they were gonna try and make long distance work. Cory decided on Stanford, and Topanga was going to Yale. We were all waiting on Shawn's decision, and they were throwing a going away party soon, there was graduation, and Shawn still hadn't decided. He only had two more days and I told him he better decide before he can't go to either college.

Shawn's POV
I had finally decided, at the last minute. I called the admissions office and told them I would be attending their college. I told Mr and Mrs Matthews and told them not to tell Cherry, Topanga, or Cory. Cherry and the group thought I just hadn't decided and wasn't going to college. They weren't happy, but they didn't get mad at me. Cherry said she would support me no matter what I did, and that made me feel really good. *time skip to graduation* "Shawn Hunter" "Topanga Lawrence" "Cherry Li" "Cory Matthews" Mr Feeny announced us. As we left to the grad party, I think Cherry was feeling sentimental. "You guys, high schools over. I'm gonna miss you guys so much." She twirled around on the street. "Awh, we love you, and we are gonna miss you." Topanga hugged her.

Cherry's POV
When we got to mine and Cory's house, everyone was there to greet us. "CONGRATS GRADS!" Everyone cheered. Even Feeny was there. We bowed and smiled. "Picture time!" Mrs Matthews got the polaroid out. We stood together and put our arms around each other, smiling. She got the picture and took like, 5 more. She handed one to each of us. She kept one for her and Mr Matthews, and handed one to Feeny. He smiled at the picture. Each picture had us doing something different, whether it be smiling, messing around, hugging each other, or something else. "Now, let me get the couples." She said. Shawn and I went first. I had one hand on his chest, and he wrapped an arm around my waist. We smiled, and then got one of him holding me bridal style, and I took my cap off. Cory and Topanga went, they hugged, and kissed. "Now, we get the best friend pictures." She beamed. "Mom." Cory said. "Cory!" She said back. We laughed and Cory and i got a picture, i was on his back. Shawn got one hugging Topanga. Then Shawn and Cory went. They held a thumbs up and smiled goofy smiles. Me and Topanga went, hugging a super tight hug.

Shawn's POV
"Okay, we will give them all the pictures later! Speech from the grads time!" Mr Matthews took the camera and pictures from Mrs Matthews hands. Cory went first. "I'm going to Stanford. I'm going to miss everyone, I love all of you, so so much. Thanks for putting up with me all these years." He said and gestured for Topanga. "I'm heading to Yale. This, whole experience, has been such an amazing one. I don't know how I would have survived without all of you." She pushed me over to where she was standing. "I have never been able to express my feelings that well. But I can say this- I love all of you. Through all of my crap, you guys always stuck by me. When I was being rude, and wasn't the best friend, boyfriend, or influence, you were all still there for me. I am so thankful for all of you. And I cannot wait to continue my journey, that is why, Cherry, I'll see you at LSU." I said, and her eyes widened, and jumped on me and everyone cheered. "You're going to college?" She asked. "With you." I said, she kissed me and hopped down. "Well, I guess it's my turn." She said and nervously walked to the speech spot.

Cherry's POV
"Here goes. When I met you guys, I was a girl who's mom had just left. I was alone. Then, I met Shawn, who offered to walk me to Mr Feenys class. Then he introduced me to his best friends, Cory and Topanga. They all immediately took me in, they made me feel welcome when they didn't have to. They are so unbelievably amazing, and the best people I've ever met in my entire life. They are my best friends. I love them. I don't think I would've gotten through high school if it wasn't for you guys being there with me. We have all had our ups and downs, and we are still friends after all of it. That's something we won't ever lose. I love you guys." I said and we got in a big group hug, crying. "Can I say something?" Mrs Matthews interjected. "Of course." We said simultaneously.

Cory's POV
"Cory, you're my youngest son. You have made me so proud. I am so amazed at the young man you've become, after getting caught listening to the game in Feenys class, and now looking at you, I could not be prouder." She said, and I hugged her tight.

Topangas POV
"Topanga. I've known you since you were itty bitty. You are so independent, and beautiful. You have made Cory so happy, for so long. You have made our family proud, for so long. You will go so far in life. Keep going, get as far as you possibly can. I love you." Mrs Matthews said, and I started crying.

Shawn's POV
"Shawn. Oh god Shawn. You, you are my son. You've been around so long, and been such a big part of Cory's life, it would be wrong for you not to be my son. You have become such a good man. You never thought you'd go to college, and now look at you. I am so proud of you, Shawn. Keep growing, and keep people like us around, you make us better, and I think we have had a pretty good influence on you too. Your father would be proud." She said, I hugged her, and she hugged back really tight.

Cherry's POV
"Cherry. Ever since we met, 3 years ago, I knew you'd be a big part of these kids lives. They were so tight knit, and then you came along, and just fit in so perfectly. Over the last 3 years, I have gotten to know you, and I see you as a beautiful, and spontaneous soul. And this year, that you've lived with us, we have learned so much more about you. I cannot believe how much you've grown from the girl I first met back in your sophomore year. I'm so proud of you, and I know that your father, he's looking at you right now, and he's so proud of you. We love you Cherry." She said and I hugged her tightly, crying. "Thank you." I said. She nodded.
