Joe

I decided to have some son and father time with Damon since he feels a bit left out since the twins came. Plus I need to get out of the house because Chloe is still being hormonal and I’m not sure how long that should be going on. I sometimes think she’s being that way because of the way I’m treating Nick. Maybe she wanted me to be upset at her with what happened,but she didn’t kiss him, he kissed her. I know I might be over reacted but I’m just hurt because I would of never done that to him,but he did that to me.

“Help daddy.” I turned around and saw Damon’s head out of the shirt but his arms were still in the sleeves, I had to laugh a little, “Here buddy.” I helped him take off his shirt. “Thank you,daddy!” he jumped up and down, I took off my shirt, “What do you want to do first? You pick,it’s your day.”

He looked around, “Um…” he put his little finger in his mouth,thinking. “Watch me on the slide,daddy.” he ran up the ladder, “Be careful,bud.”

“Get in the watter.” he gave me a smile, “I am,buddy.” I jumped into the pool and swam towards the slide, “Weady,daddy?” I nodded my head, he sat on the slide and slid down, I clapped, “Woo!! Go Damon!” He wiped his eyes after going under, “Did you see me,daddy?” I picked him up, “I sure did!” I got out the pool, “Let’s go to the kiddie pool and play with your swim toys. I took him to the kid pool and gave him some toys.

“How old is he? He’s cute!” some blonde chick sat next to me on the side of the pool, “Um,he’s very close to Three...a few weeks actually.” I nodded, “He’s adorable!” she smiled, “Yeah, I love him. I’m a lucky guy.” she smiled, “I bet you’re a good dad. You seem like a good dad. I’m Abby.”

“Thanks.” I watched Damon play with some kids, “I’m Joe.” I shook her hand, “I see you’re married. Is it to Damon’s mother?” Okay,she’s becoming too up in my business now, “No,I’m married to someone else, we just had twins.” I grinned.

He scoffed, “Men all the same.” she shook her head, “They impregnate a woman,then leaves her for another.” I glared at all, “First of all, you don’t judge nobody because you don’t know their backstory and second of all, I never intended to get Damon’s mother, and I was planning on keeping her my girlfriend,but after we did it that night, I couldn’t find her,so two years later, I found her because she was my br---brother’s nurse, and then they started dating,then when I found out who she was and I learned I had a son.  I’m not the type of guy who fucking leaves a girl, it just happened, I tried finding her and everything. I’m lucky enough she is letting me into Damon’s life and I’m lucky I can call her a friend.” I looked at her,

“Don’t fucking judge people.” I hopped into the pool and swam to Damon, “Boo!” making him scream, “Daddy!!” he giggled, “I see you met new friends, what are their friends?” the kids were just staring at me, “Uh...I don’t wemember..” he looked at me,making me chuckle, “Do you want to play with them or with me?” I pouted, he pointed to them, “Okay.. I’ll be sitting on the edge if you need me.” I swam to another edge of the pool,away from Abby.

We started here for a good few hours, Damon’s new friends left before we did,so I played with him and did the slide with him. He seemed like he was enjoying our time, it was great to have time with my son.

We headed back to my place 15 minutes before Demi and Nick were showing up,so we could change out of our swimwear.

I pulled up into the driveway, “Buddy...we need to talk?” I turned off my engine, “Yes,daddy?” he kicked his feet, “I know you don’t like the twins, but remember you’re a big brother,that means when they are your age,you can teach them to swim and everything.” he opened his mouth,smiling, “Really?!”
