Ch. 58

Chloe.

They moved Joe and Demi to a closer hospital so we could visit them more. It’s been about 4 days and he hasn’t woke up yet. The doctor told me the longer he is in the coma,the more damage there will be and I’m absolutely scared that when he wakes up,he won’t be the guy I fell in love with.

I made my mom go home because I was done with her negativity.  I was on the floor, playing with the twins. They were at the stage of laughing a lot, which was enjoyable to watch. They were looking more like Joe. You can already tell they’re going to have dark hair.

My friends kept telling me to take the twins to see their dad to see if that would wake him up,but I doubt it. I’m going to visit him after I fed the twins and had lunch.  

I fed the twins at their time before changing them into matching black onesies that had ‘Twincess’ on it. Joe’s mom got them for us.

I got them down for a nap so I could have my lunch. I turned on the news while I ate. It kept talking about local wrecks,so I had to turn it of. “Joe,please wake up.” I started crying, I wasn’t hungry anymore.

We got to the hospital a little bit late then I was hoping. I pushed the twins in their double carrier stroller, I ran into the doctor as I walking to Joe’s room. “Any news?” I kept hoping he was awake and sleeping.

“No, I’m sorry, Mrs. Jonas. I was just checking his IVs.” he gave me a pat on the back and went back to work.

“Hey baby..” I walked in, “I brought the girls with me today..I know how bad they wanted to see you. I miss you so much.” I pecked his lips, I ran my hands through his hair, “You know it’s okay to wake up..It might be painful,but you have good people around you.” I kept looking at his beat up face.

“Demi is alive. You can be awake..everything will be okay.” I laid my chin on his chest, looking at his stubble on his face, “Don’t be scared to wake up being not able to walk,baby..We can work through that.. I marry you because I love you,not because you have legs.” I giggled a little.

“I’ll let you see our daughters.” I put the twins in between his arms, I got my camera and took a picture.  I looked at the preview of the photo and it hit it. I broke down crying. “Joe,please.” I rushed over to him, “Everything will be okay..” I took his hand and used his hands to wipe away my tears.

“I’m just seeing my bro- Oh hey Chloe.” Nick walked in, “Hey.” I got the twins back in their carrier. “I just brought Joe his favorite candy,Trix..” Nick laid them down on the table stand, “Any news?” he picked up one of the twins.

“Nope,” I sighed, “Hows Demi and Damon?” I sat in a chair next to Joe’s bed.

“Damon,he’s acting like his usual active self,he’s been asking about his dad,though.” I looked at him,then looked at Joe, “What did you tell him?”

“His dad is taking a long nap..and he’ll wake up soon. For Demi,she’s improving everyday too.” I got up and hugged him, “I’m happy for you.”

“Now,we just need my brother to wake up so he can help me with a ring..Did you know Joe talked to Demi about changing Damon’s last name to Jonas? They discussed it on the bus.”

“Yeah, he asked me for my opinion on it and I liked the idea,so yeah.”  

Nick nodded his head, “I honestly think it’s a good idea..” He gave me a small grin, “Yeah, I think so too.” I gave him another hug.

“I need to head back to Demi. I’ll talk to you later,Chloe. Bye Annistyn. Bye Serenity.” he gave the twins a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
