Nick

It was nice having life be good again. I had my girl back & my brother back. I missed them both. I missed Damon, too. This kid was growing on me. I loved him already & I had only known him a few months. He was the only one who could get away with calling me Nicky. Uncle Nicky. It was cute when he said it. Okay, once in a while, a girl would scream it while I was fucking her & that was okay, too, but in just day to day conversation, it was a definite no no.

I was at work, one afternoon after Dee & I got back together, taking a break between clients. Macy was doing a rehearsal class before her regular schedule started & I was explaining the whole Dee & Joe situation that she had stumbled into. She found it amusing.

"So is she your girlfriend? Because the last time I talked to Tony Villers, he said you were a player who tried to fuck as many women as you possibly could." Macy asked, standing next to me as I wiped off my neck with a towel. Tony was a guy I was friends with, in high school, who followed my career & still came into the gym once in a while.

I smiled & shook my head. "First of all, I am not a player. These women, these bed buddies, come to me. I don't go looking for them. And second of all, I didn't try to fuck as many women as I could. I had quite a few that were repeat bed buddies. I mean, yea, there have been a lot since high school, but I never treated any of them badly." I took a swig of my water. "And yes, Dee is my girlfriend. I never thought it would happen honestly, but I fell in love." I shrugged.

"Wow. You love her?" Macy made a surprised face. "Does she care that the bed buddies still come lookin for ya?"

I laughed, raising an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"A redhead was in here the other day, asking for ya."

"Oh, yea, I should probably make some sort of an announcement that I'm off the market." I saw Dee come in the gym & I smiled at her over Macy's shoulder. I let out a breath as Macy turned to see what I was smiling at. "I'm a taken man." Dee walked over to us, glaring at Macy. "Hey, baby." I said to Dee as she got closer, taking her hand & leaning to kiss her, quickly. "You remember Macy."

Dee narrowed her eyes & gave Macy a fake smile. "Yes. Hello again."

"Hi. Listen, no hard feelings about the other day. I stumbled into something & I don't want trouble." Macy smiled.

"Good. No hard feelings." Dee said through clenched teeth.

Macy looked at me. "Oh & Red told me to tell ya to call her because she misses your... um..." Macy cleared her throat & looked at the floor for a moment, then smirked up at me. "she misses your fine ass. And that is a direct quote." Macy used air quotes & I rolled my eyes. Of course she had to say this in front of Dee who was now glaring at me. "And some guy came in, but didn't leave his name. Asked about you & I assumed it was about a personal trainer, so I gave him one of your cards. Hope that was okay."

"It's fine. Thanks. See ya later." I pulled Dee away. "What are you doing here, sweetie?" I put my arm around her waist.

"You don't want me here? You afraid I'll cramp your style?"

"Of course not. Would I do this, if I thought you were cramping my style?" I pulled her face to me so I could kiss her, letting my lips have a little fun before they pulled away. I smiled down at her relaxed expression, her eyes still closed. "You can't get enough of my kisses, can you?" I murmured, kissing her jawline.

Dee pushed me away, trying not to smile. "You need to stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"Kissing me when I'm trying to be mad at you." She crossed her arms. "Are you coming over tonight?"
