Thankfully, Joe & Chloe were good again, even though Chloe's hormones were still a little out of whack. Joe, at least, knew how to deal with her now. Joe did what he was told without saying much in return. They even had a system down for caring for their newborns & they made a great team. I was also glad Joe & Nick were friends again. They both needed the other. Even though they both had other friends, no one understood them like they both did.

Joe was helping me with Damon's birthday party when he could. He was busy doing photo shoots for Nick & also shooting any of the appearances Nick had to promote his album. Damon's birthday was April 28 & we were having his party on the Saturday after, on May 2. The week after, Nick & I were heading to New York, for a week, to do a few acoustic sets at some radio stations. If the response to our performances was good, his label was going to get us some tv appearances & then they'd okay me going on Nick's tour. I hadn't said anything to Joe, yet about going on tour, because it wasn't a definite thing yet. I hoped he would be okay with Damon going along with us. Nick had a really nice bus, that he just got to walk through & then there was a second bus for his team & band. Joe & I could stay with Nick on the main bus with Damon & it would be perfect. Damon would love it & I thought it would give him time with Joe as well.

Chloe's mom was going to be staying with her while Joe was on the tour & Joe had plans to fly home whenever he had a few days off. I know he wasn't looking forward to being away from his daughters so Nick was making sure he wasn't away for too long. Joe wasn't going to New York with us, though, but was keeping Damon during that time. I was excited to be going to New York since I'd never been there, but I was nervous leaving Damon for an entire week. However, I was looking forward to being with Nick for a week. I was hoping it would be romantic. We were going to be in New York on the day that was the one year anniversary of the day I met Nick. I hadn't said anything to Nick. I mean it wasn't an anniversary, since we didn't get together until three months later, but I was curious if Nick would even remember. The day was special to me because I remember how I felt my heart flutter the moment I saw him that day. Then I remember how much of an ass he was. Little did I know, I'd be head over heels in love with him six months later.

Nick's album came out the week before Damon's party & it did really well on the charts. People were really loving his music & word was getting around, pretty fast. Big time musicians & other celebrities were tweeting about his album, which only made it more popular & sell more. Nick was ecstatic because he had been worried that us being together would harm his sales. His first single, 'Chains,' had done well, but his second single, 'Jealous' was huge, since it was promoted a lot more. Once his album was released, it was played every other hour on pop radio. Whenever Nick heard it, his face would light up & a smile would appear on his face. A few times I would take video of him on my phone listening to it in the car & he'd post them online. He was getting quite a following & now it was getting harder to have a normal life because he'd encounter fans while he was out. He was always so gracious to anyone he met, too, which was another reason for his popularity.

Nick couldn't even go to the gym anymore because word got out that he was a member there & fans would flock outside to catch a glimpse of him. He loved meeting & talking to his fans, though & he was so personable that I think that helped him gain more attention. He was a charmer, that was for sure. Even his agent was surprised at how many calls he was getting for interviews or appearances. Nick was excited for all the things that were happening & he seemed to stay pretty grounded. I think Damon & I helped him stay humble. And Joe, of course, who would knock some sense into his big brother if his head got too large.

Joe offered to have Damon's party at his house since it was bigger than mine, but his yard wasn't as nice, so I went over to try to spruce it up. Chloe loved what I did & told me I should do lawn designing as a hobby on the side for extra money. I laughed, but thought it sounded fun. Maybe one day.
