Ch. 4.

Joe's POV.

This was the first full day in Mexico,it was gorgeous here. The beach,the people,the atmosphere and that girl,I love it here. I'm enjoying it already.

"I'm going to get us some surfboards,you want one?" Chad asked,"Yeah,sure,I'm going to get me a beer." I smiled,I headed to the bar,"Hi,I'm Jee--- Let's restart." I walked to where I stood,then I headed back to the bar,she was laughing,she was cute. "I'm Joe." I smiled,I fiddled with my belt loop,"Demi." she smiled,her teeth were so white.

"May I help you?" she asked,"I'll have a bud light." I showed her my ID. "And I was wondering something.."  I sat down at the bar,"Which is?" she smiled at me,filling the cup full of my beer,"Is a beautiful lady like you free tonight?" I smiled, "Is this you asking me out?" he handed me my cup,"I wouldn't say...like a date,unless you want it to be,but my friends and I heard about this bonfire party..would you like to come?" I got my wallet out.

"Come on,Joe!" Chad called out,"Hold on,dude." I looked at him,then at Demi,she has the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen,"So what do you say?" I sipped my beer,"Sounds good to me,I'll meet you there." she smiled,"Awesome." I smiled back,"So how much is this drink?" I looked into my wallet.

"It's free." she winked at me,"You sure?" I looked at her,"Yes." she giggled,her laugh is even beautiful,"Thank you,Demi. I'll see you tonight." I winked,I got up and headed to the guys. "Have you heard from Nick?" Jace asked,"He's going to try to get a flight Thursday night,so he would be here Friday,I think...." I put my beer down and grabbed a board.

It was 7:30 and I was getting ready for the bonfire,I was excited to see Demi again,I don't know alot about her,but I  am excited to get to know her,I slipped on my shirt,"You ready dude?" Chad barged into my room of the suite,"Yes." I fixed my hair. 

We headed to the bonfire,when we got there,I left the boys and find Demi,my heart was racing, I saw the blonde hair beauty,I smiled,I went to her and tapped on her shoulder,"Looking for somebody?" I smiled,"Oh hey you!" She smiled big at me,"Let me get you a drink." I smiled,"I'll have water." she sat down in a chair,facing the ocean,I looked at  her legs,they were so toned. I headed to the bar and got her a cup of water and myself a beer,I paid the guy,then I carried the cups to her.

"Thank you,Joe." she smiled as I sat next to her,"So...where are you from?" I turned my body so I could face her better,she smiled,"That's me to know & you to find out." she sipped her water,I laughed a little,"I'm from New Jersey,now come on,where you from?" I smiled,"I can't say...I mean..I moved around...alot." her smiled decreased a little,"Oh.." I looked at her,"I'm sorry..I'm not really good this thing..I haven't really talked to a girl in about three months.." I sighed,I looked at the blue ocean.

"Really? Why?" she looked at me,tucking her hair behind her ear,"My girlfriend and I were just moving in together,but six months later I walked in on her screwing her ex boyfriend on my bed. So I moved out and moved in with my brother."

"Omg,you loved her,didn't you?" she pulled her chair closer to mine,"Yeah,I guess..I'm sorry,I should of told you about my past,it was stupid of me. Or in my brother's words,pathetic." I said,Demi giggled a little,she put her hand on top of mine,"I love men who are compassionate. I'm glad you told a girl you just met at a bar on a beach." she smiled,I laughed, "You're different..I could tell.." I looked at her.

"Ah different.." she looked down,"A good different." I nudged her,she smiled a little,"Do you have a number so we can talk?" I smiled,"I don't have a phone,it's complicated..." she sighed,"I see...I wanna keep getting to know you." I looked at her,"Don't worry about tomorrow,let's get to know each other tonight." she smiled,she got up,"Let's dance!" she pulled me up,"I don't dance,are you crazy?" I laughed.
