"Give us, one break. I promise we'll be back within the hour." Blair begged, it had been the first two weeks of summer and Blair and Isaac had both been training with Peter and Derek repeatedly. Their nights consisted of searching for the Alpha pack who had kidnapped Erica and Boyd while every morning and afternoon, the two teenagers were forced to train.
"Derek, maybe they're right. Plus, I need to go over some arrangements with you." Derek rolled his eyes at Peter's lack of subtlety before nodding, giving Blair and Isaac the go-ahead to leave. Blair and Isaac both ran out quickly, knowing if they even took the chance of showering and changing Derek might change his mind and force them to stay and train instead.
Blair had managed to grab some money out of Derek's wallet before they left, the two finding themselves at a frozen yogurt store as they were still trying to find energy from after getting brutally trained all morning.
"Hey, I have a question." Blair nodded her head mid-scoop, considering she was more concentrated on getting the cheesecake bites into her than what Isaac's question was going to be.
"Do you have a crush on Scott?" Isaac blurted out, making Blair choke on her cheesecake bite, Isaac starting to laugh at her obvious surprise at his question as she covered her mouth with the napkin.
"What... What makes you think that? Because I don't. Scott and I are friends, strictly and only friends." Blair tried to recover as Isaac raise his eyebrow as he heard her heart skip a beat.
"You do remember I have werewolf hearing and know you're lying, right?" Isaac asked, Blair clearly becoming embarrassed as Isaac sat back in his chair, eating the last of his cake batter frozen yogurt.
"I'm not having this discussion." Blair denied, shaking her head in refusal, Isaac not knowing Blair would be stubborn even with admitting her crush on Scott McCall to him.
"Come on, I'm your only friend and I know your feelings bottle up inside of you. And, it's not like we even have time for me to leave the house and tell him." Isaac reassured Blair, not seeing it as a big deal if she had feelings for Scott or not.
"Okay, fine. I like Scott, but it's not like I'm going to see him over summer because of this Alpha pack. I have plenty of time to get over it." Blair explained to Isaac, even though she was clearly trying to convince him more so than herself that she was going to get rid of her feelings for a certain puppy-eyes werewolf.
"This entire summer when we've had free time. It's been the two of you. He called you after he broke up with Allison - he's always asking to tag along with us or inviting you to hang out with him and Stiles. It's obvious." Isaac pointed out, getting sick of being one of their unofficial third wheels when in his eyes he wanted to deattach and just push the two of them together already.
