"The pattern is philosophers and Stiles had to bring Cora to the hospital because she passed out at his house. And all the teachers are going to be at the recital tonight. So, we need to make sure that the Darach doesn't take any of them." Scott explained to Blair quickly as she closed her locker to see Scott standing behind it with an anxious expression across his face. Blair's eyes widening since she was going to leave the school before Scott walked up to her.
Blair nodded her head a couple of times as she tried to process everything he had just shared with her in the span of a minute - trying to wrap her head around the fact that the Darach might act again in the next couple hours and also that Cora was hurt and in the hospital. The alarming thought of her family being hurt not helping with her nerves but she knew Derek would already be there to help her since they were actually siblings. Blair already making her decision of where she would go as she nodded her head before looking back up at Scott.
"Okay, let's go to the recital. We can make sure that everyone is safe and then go from there. I'll text Derek and Peter, make sure that they're with Cora at the hospital. Okay?" Blair explained her plan before knitting her hands behind Scott's neck, leaning forward to give Scott a kiss on the cheek as Scott held her face gently in his hands.
"If anything happens tonight you'll come find me, right?" Scott asked, wanting the reassurance that Blair wouldn't get herself in unnecessary danger without him being nearby to help her. Scott filling with protectiveness over Blair as he gave her a quick kiss on the forehead not wanting Blair to possibly get hurt by the Darach tonight either despite the fact she didn't fit any of the requirements of the categories that the Darach was sacrificing.
"Only if I can't handle it myself, then I'll call you. I promise." Blair promised, her lips spreading into a tiny smile at Scott worrying over her since they both knew she could handle herself. Scott smiling anyway that he had Blair by his side rather than having to freak out over everything by himself - not able to help the fact that his heartbeat was able to finally stop racing once he had found Blair at her locker.
Blair grabbed Scott's hand and led the two to the music room as they watched they orchestra assemble their instruments for the recital that was getting close to the beginning. Scott kept his grip on Blair's hand tight as his worry for the night's events began to increase not exactly knowing how they were supposed to manage all of this by themselves.
Blair and Scott stayed to the back of the room so they could keep an eye on all the teachers in the room at once - scanning to keep an eye in case any of them got taken by the Darach during the recital. Both of them making sure to count for every teacher that came in - making sure that they would know if anyone suddenly left the recital.
Lydia approached the two, taking Scott by surprise when he noticed his strawberry-blonde friend standing beside him since he expected her to have left the school already. Blair turned to Lydia as she gave her a small smile in greeting - the two girls still barely friends but they were slowly building towards a solid friendship. After everything that had happened over the past couple weeks, the two were slowly beginning to trust each other.
