"I like these ones." Blair commented from beside Stiles, picking up a bouquet of flowers and showing them to Stiles beside her. Stiles examining the flowers as he tried to decide if they would be good enough or not for his mom.
"Yeah, she would like those." Stiles agreed, grabbing the flowers from Blair's hand and walking to the counter to pay for the flowers. Blair brought Stiles to the florist to buy some flowers for his mom's grave - Stiles insisting that he could use her help in picking some since it would take his mind off things.
Blair stood awkwardly as Stiles's fumbled with his wallet in front of the cashier, not being able to read the number on any of the bills to be able to pay for the flowers. The woman stared at the two impatiently as she waited for Stiles to pay her as Blair started to notice her looks of anger towards Stiles. Blair slipped some cash out of her pocket as she passed it to the lady before Stiles grabbed the flowers off the counter.
"Thanks, I'll pay you back." Stiles thanked Blair as the two got back in the jeep. Stiles was slightly embarrassed from the encounter at the shop but Blair didn't see it as much of a problem compared to him who was majorly embarrassed at struggling to read in front of a stranger.
The two rode in silence as they finally entered the sheriff station, Blair insisting on opening the doors for Stiles on the way in so that he could show the flowers to his dad properly.
"You know, the last time we brought one of these to her grave it was stolen the same day. Hundred bucks down the drain. Hey, Dad? Hi, what are you doing down there?" Stiles asked his dad once he finished putting the flowers down on his desk. The two perched over the desk to see Sheriff Stilinski sitting on the floor with files lying beside him - well, at least a hundred files beside him. Blair turning to Stiles to see if this was normal or not.
"Working. And hey, if somebody wants the flowers that badly, they can have them. It's the gesture." The Sheriff brushed off, not seeing grave robbing as big of a deal as his son did. Stiles nodded his head at his before indicting to Blair to follow him.
Stiles and Blair walked around the desk to see piles of boxes covering the room. The two taking in the mess of the Sheriff's office due to all of the boxes. Blair analysing all of the different types of boxes that covered his room, wondering what was causing the Sheriff to drag out all of this evidence out of lock-up all of a sudden.
"Hey, Dad, what is all this?" Stiles asked, pointing to some of the boxes the Sheriff had out, most of them having files falling out of them.
"I've been looking over some old cases from a more illuminated perspective, if you know what I mean." The Sheriff explained, referring to the supernatural world he had just recently discovered due to his son and his friends.
"Strange sighting of bipedal lizard man sprinting across freeway." Stiles read out from one of the documents near him. Blair nodding her head reminiscing once she heard those words.
