Blair had received at least fifteen phone calls from no other than Stiles Stilinski who was insisting that she meet him and Scott at his friend's house for her birthday party.

After the tenth call, Derek forced her to go, knowing that Stiles would continue to call Blair or worse - show up at his house and Derek did not want to listen to Stiles Stilisnki's incessant ramblings another night. He already had his fair share of that this week. Because of this, Blair had convinced Derek to let her borrow his Camaro as she stood outside the house. She couldn't help but wonder how bad of an idea this was as she waited for Stiles and Scott to arrive.

"Blair, finally. My favorite Valkyrie knows how to answer her phone again." Stiles teased, Scott not being able to help as he checked out Blair in the dress she was wearing, Blair remaining oblivious to Scott's stares as she flipped Stiles off. Stiles wearing an obnoxious grin as he wrapped his arm around Blair's shoulder and pretended to mess with her hair before she elbowed him quite hard in the stomach. The three entered the house as a blonde girl ran up to the three - only greeting Stiles as her and her friend approached them.

"Hey. There's the birthday girl..." Scott and Blair stood wide-eyed as the girl cut Stiles off with a kiss before dragging Stiles away from the two. Scott tried to talk to one of the girl's friends in an attempt to be friendly but she remained silent as she checked out Scott before walking away from the two disgusted.

Scott's phone began ringing, he stared at the contact picture of Allison before turning to Blair and shutting his phone off - knowing this was supposed to be his time for moving on from Allison and he was certainly going to start tonight. Blair noticed the name flash on his phone as her eyes diverted elsewhere, deciding she wasn't going to ask any questions about that complicated relationship.

"Hey, you want to dance?" Scott asked, taking Blair by surprise deciding to say yes anyway since there wasn't anything else she could do at this party anyway. She let Scott take her hand and guide her onto the dance floor as they pushed past the crowded teenagers who took up the majority of the living room. The two moved to a more secluded part of the room as Scott turned Blair, and wrapped his arms softly around Blair's waist.

"You know this isn't a slow song, right?" Blair whispered as she slowly wrapped her arms around Scott's neck. She couldn't help the surprise that covered her face when Scott brought her closer to him - guiding her by the waist so that they were practically face to face. Blair could feel her heart start to race at how close they were - hoping that Scott wasn't concentrating on anything she was feeling.

"Why'd you run away during the summer?" Scott asked as he leaned his head against Blair's neck, able to hear her heartbeat increase anytime he got closer to her. Scott had wanted to know the answer to the question once Blair started to ignore all his calls and messages whenever he tried to contact her at all as she suddenly abandoned their new friendship they had just built. Scott missed Blair more than he would admit to Stiles, things just didn't feel right once she left and Scott didn't want her to leave again.
