"Erica and Boyd are leaving tonight," Isaac announced to Blair when he stood at her door. Blair stared up from her book as she finally got up. There was a mix of emotions flowing through her mainly concern - one for her brother since that was half of his pack suddenly gone and the second for Isaac since he was the only one out of the Betas supposedly not leaving.
"What? Are you going with them?" Blair asked, bringing her cardigan around her shoulders as she moved off her bed. She was surprised that the two of them would suddenly skip town without saying anything but there was a small part of her that started to realize the supernatural life wasn't going to be cut out for them with the amount of complaints she had heard from them recently.
"I don't know what I want to do, I think I'm going to talk to Scott," Isaac confessed to Blair as she grabbed Isaac's hand - knowing Isaac needed a ride to the clinic to have the conversation he needed. The two sneaked out the back of the Hale's house and sat in Blair's car, a silence coming over them.
"I'll take you to talk to Scott if that helps you make your decision," Blair advised Isaac as he nodded, thankful that Blair was willing to take the time to help decide what he wanted to do with his future. Isaac knew that was a lot for Blair since she was currently still mad at Scott and giving him the silent treatment.
"If it's any consolation Isaac, I need you. I know I'm not a werewolf and that probably doesn't mean anything when you want a pack but I would like for you to stay." Blair spoke quietly as she didn't meet Isaac's eyes. Isaac stared at her slightly shocked that she had admitted she even cared about him knowing both her and Derek were a closed book when it came to talking about their emotions and admitting they cared about others.
"You...need me?" Isaac asked confused since he always thought it was the other way around. Blair had always been doing her own thing since day one when he joined the pack and he had been running after her hoping she would give him a piece of attention that he could have the chance of having a friend. He thought after everything that she would end up drawing away from the pack rather than admitting she needed him.
"You're the only one I fully trust besides Derek. I'm not good with having friends, it's always been me and the Hales really. I want you to stay." Blair declared trying to fully form why her friendship with him mattered. It may be selfish but she wanted Isaac to know he had more friends to count on than just Erica and Boyd. That he had her. Isaac nodded his head as he leaned over and kissed Blair on the head.
"I trust you too." Isaac reassured her since he could feel her worry and anxiety about him leaving from his seat - not expecting her to admit to caring about him especially after he had tested her for the Kanima. The two fell into a silence as they pulled up to the animal clinic as Isaac began to leave the car before realising Blair wasn't leaving.
"You're not coming in? Are you still mad at Scott?" Isaac asked, wanting his best friend to come with him to talk to Scott for advice. Isaac was still trying to wrap his head around the friendship Blair and Scott had managed to build in the last month since it seemed like it was stronger than the one she had with Erica and Boyd. He had no idea how it started or how it became a huge part of his pack's division due to Erica's thoughts on it but it seemed like he mattered to Blair. Therefore, he cared about her feelings towards this fight even if he trusted Scott with what he was doing more than she did.
