Blair quickly followed after Scott, closing his front door shut behind her and locking it. Scott beginning to lock all the windows as he ran in - wanting to taking all the precautions he could to protect them. Blair holding her backpack tighter as she began to realize Scott might be more anxious than she was with the Oni coming after them even if they both knew she was probably the real target.
"Scott, if they really want me... Do you really think all of this is going to be enough to keep them out?" Blair gestured to the windows and door as Scott continued locking the windows in the living room - going through all the stops he had to in order to protect Blair. Scott knew he couldn't lose Blair and if he was acting a little irrational right now in his over-protectiveness, it was only because he didn't want to lose her.
"Actually, I need to wait for my mom for the Mountain Ash barrier to work. It'll keep the Oni from coming in, hopefully." Scott explained as he ran up the stairs, Blair following behind him as he threw his backpack on the bed and started to lock the window in his room.
"How long will that be?" Blair asked, setting her backpack down on the bed beside Scott's - turning back to Scott as she waited for an answer since she didn't know how long they were going to have to wait for Melissa.
"Soon hopefully," Scott commented as Blair stood behind him as she watched him shut the windows, Scott turned around quickly as he nearly crashed into Blair causing her to grab onto his shoulders to steady him.
"Easy there, wolf-boy." Blair tried to joke even though she knew Scott was obviously growing more nervous about the Oni coming.
"Are you worried?" Scott asked Blair who let go of his shoulders as she walked around his room and began looking at the pictures he had up as decorations.
"Yeah," Blair whispered, Scott only being able to hear her because of his werewolf hearing due to how quiet she was talking. Blair turned around with a picture of Scott and Stiles in middle school - not being able to hide her amusement at the two's embarrassing picture since she had never seen pictures of the two at that age.
"Great picture." Blair joked at Scott who was shaking his head at Blair trying to change the topic. Blair turning to sit it back down in it's original spot, not hearing Scott's close footsteps behind her as she turned around and nearly slammed into his chest.
"Everything's going to be okay, Blair. I promise. I won't let them hurt you." Scott promised her, Blair sighing before crossing her hands across her chest - not exactly believing Scott's promise since there was no way he could guarantee Blair's safety especially since no one even knew what the Oni wanted.
"Scott, you couldn't hold them off last night, even Derek couldn't fight against them. Nothing's going to change tonight." Blair argued back, knowing about the large chance of their plan failing. Blair knew she could handle herself in a fight against one of them, but a fight against multiple of the Oni was a different question altogether.
