This story is definitely going to be far from perfect, because I haven't written anything in forever and my English is honestly rusty when it comes to story telling.
I still hope that you will enjoy this as much as I enjoy writing it.

edit 2025: this story is now 5 years old! crazy??? while i'm glad people still seem to read it from time to time, i feel like i need to clarify some things to those who weren't there at the beginning or don't know about the instagram account that came with this story.
midas' destiny started out as a joke and was supposed to be about meowscles after deadpool took over the yacht. somehow it turned into a midas fanfic and i just wrote anything that came to my mind in the moment of writing it, which is why i basically stole some story elements from newscapepro and percy jackson (whack, i know). i wanted to rewrite the fanfic, but sadly never had enough motivation to get past chapter 1. so if some things seem rushed or don't make sense, blame 2020 me for trying to get the fanfic done by a certain month.
also, what might be important to know is that at the time of writing this fanfic, jules wasn't an actual skin yet, all we had was an image of her concept. people theorised she's either midas' sister or daughter and most thought her name might be marigold.
