I smiled as I watch them play. They were laughing while running. A handsome man with a wide smile is running to catch that cute little boy.

We are in a park, it's sunday, means family day. We are having picnic.

"Daddy's commiinnnggg!!" they were happy. I am happy. I didn't know that all the pain, hardship and heartache will result of what I have now.

I am thankful for all the experience I had, whether it is happy or sad and easy or hard, it made me stronger. A strong woman that can face everything that the world throws at her, that's who I am now.

"Moooooommmmmyyyyyy!!!!" he screams while running towards me.

I spread my arms to welcome him. He immediately hugs me.

"Gotchaa!!, you're unfair huh? Running towards mommy"

"HAHAHA you are so slow in running Daddy" my cute little boy said.

"Baby, I told you not to exhaust your self, it's bad for you" I scold him but he just smiles at me. Oh God! How can I resist his cute face? He's showing his puppy eyes and dimples. It's melting me.

"I am okay mommy; I didn't run that much because Daddy runs like a turtle HAHAHA" he reason out. Such a smart kid. He's just 6 and just finished kinder. 

I wipe his sweat and change his shirt. I kiss his head before he went to his Daddy D and sat on his lap.

"Love, may pawis din ako" sabi nito at itinuro ang noo. Naupo ito sa tabi ko.

Napangiti na lang ako, mahilig magpababy itong damulag na ito eh.

"Asan po Mr. Daniel Alvero, pupunasan ko" sabi ko naman at sinabayan ang kalokohan niya.

"Love, I need to go home, Birthday ni Lola sa susunod na linggo" sabi nito at inilabas mula sa basket ang sandwich na ginawa ko kanina na baon namin.

He calls me love, because he said I am lovely. Hinayaan ko na lang kasi kahit anong pagkastigo ko hindi naman yan makikinig sa akin.

"Ilang araw ka naman doon?" tanong ko dahil siguradong hahanapin siya si Lard.

"Hindi ko pa alam pero baka isang linggo, mami-miss ko kayo ni Lard, sana pwede ko na lang kayong isama" sabi nito tapos uminom sa juice na baon din namin.

"Are you going somewhere Daddy? Where?" my son asked. He will cry for sure when Daniel leaves to go back to Philippines. Hindi marunong mag tagalog ang anak ko pero medyo nakakaintindi naman siya.

"I am going to Philippines Baby because Lola Lita will celebrate her birthday next week" he said.

"Is it far? Can I come with you, I want to meet Lola Lita" my son said. Sa video call niya lang kasi nakakausap si Lola Lita eh.

Tumingin sa akin si Daniel, hindi niya alam kung anong sasabihin sa bata. 

"Baby, you can't come with me, maybe next time" that's the only thing he said at alam kong magtatanong pa ang anak ko kung bakit hindi pwede.

It's been six years since I left Philippines. I left everything there, just so I can start a new life here in San Francisco, California. 

I can still clearly remember what we did, six years ago. I am not sure back then if I really made the right decision, but seeing on what I have now. I think I made the right decision.

We went to the rooftop of the hospital, dahil sabi ni Ninang Alice may pag uusapan kaming dalawa. Nang makarating kami doon ipinakilala niya ako sa kapatid niyang doctor na director pala sa ospital na iyon.
