I still remember the first day I met her. I remember every moment of that strange afternoon.
I was going over to my friend's apartment. We had planned to hang out as my friend's roommate was gone for the day, so we would have the apartment to ourselves.
But when I got to the apartment, it was the total opposite of what I had expected. Instead, my friend was nowhere to be seen, but her roommate was there.
I introduced myself to the roommate, and she told me that she had no clue where my friend was, but she allowed me to stay and wait for my friend.
I don't know why I stayed, but I did, and I'm glad.
She made me a sandwich, it was the best sandwich I ever had. I called her the sandwich queen, she laughed. She had a nice laugh.
She didn't talk much at first, but then I brought up movies, and suddenly she wouldn't stop talking.
At one point, she realized that she was ranting. She got all embarrassed, blushing and hiding behind her hair. It was cute.
My friend never did appear, and suddenly I realized that it was late. I had to get back home, for I had work in the morning.
So I left with asimple goodbye, but I could not get the strange girl I had just met off of mymind.
