I stirred around the noodles in the pot, waiting for them to be fully cooked. She was in our room relaxing as I prepared supper. The noodles didn't take long to cook, within a few seconds, I had dinner all ready to go.
I went to go get her from our room, peering my head into our room. There she was asleep on top of the bed. She was sleeping on her side, her knees brought up close to her chest, and within the space between her knees and chest slept our cat. I smiled at the two sleepyheads. The two all curled up and comfy, fast asleep. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen, my two little babies all snuggled up together. I didn't want to wake them, but I also didn't want dinner to go cold.
I quietly walked over, petting the cat on the head. She moved, sleepy eyes opening a bit, noticing me. She just moaned, rubbing her hand over her face.
"Hey, how are my two little sleepy babies?" I smiled at her. She was adorable, looking all sleepy like that.
"I'm not a baby." She moaned.
"Sorry." I apologized. "You looked so content, I feel bad waking you."
"It's okay."
"Supper's ready."
"Alright, just give two seconds." She said with a yawn, petting the cat, who was also now awake.
I nodded, walking out of the room, getting one last glance at the adorable little scene of my two babies not wanting to move from their sleepy warm positions. It was such a cute scene, and I didn't want to forget it at all.
