It was late, and the sky was dark. I was tired, and the drive home was slow. It was making me a tiny bit angry.

I pushed the door open, grumbling as I finally came into the house. I hung my coat up and threw off my shoes.

"Bad day?"

I looked over to see her sitting on the counter, her legs swinging. She was just sitting there, eating a cup of yogurt.

I smiled over at her. "Yeah"

"Me too." She said, holding up her yogurt.

She went back to eating her yogurt, and her legs continued to swing.

"How did I get so lucky to get stuck with you?"

She smiled, blushing a little. "I guess the stars were aligned in your favour."

"Something like that," I said, kissing her on the cheek. "Thanks for making my day."
