It was late, and we were lying on my bed. She was lying on her front with her legs in the air, and I was lying on my back. We weren't doing much, too absorbed by our phones.
"Do you wanna watch a movie?" She asked me.
I was coming to realize that I had a crush on her, but I wasn't too sure what to do about it. I was too scared, too shy.
"It's getting late," I said.
"It's not like there are any rules saying I have to leave."
"Well, no. But I need sleep, unlike some people." I said, getting up off of the bed.
"Who needs sleep?"
I laughed at her. "Come on," I said, pulling at her arm.
"No." She buried herself under my blankets. "I don't want to leave."
I didn't really want her to leave, but I was tried.
"I'm sorry."
She gave a sad, slow sigh. "Fine." She groaned as she rolled off the bed. "See you tomorrow I guess."
"Yeah," I said as we walked towards my door. "So goodnight, I guess?"
She smiled as she opened the door. "Goodnight." She wavered at the door, laughing slightly. "You sure I can't stay."
"Sorry, maybe another night."
"Fine." She said, swaying the door slowly back and forth.
"Come on, I'll see you tomorrow," I said, pushing her out of my apartment.
"Ya, see you tomorrow." She said.
She was leaning close to me, she was so close. She was staring at me.
"Bye." She whispered.
"Bye," I said with an awkward laugh.
Suddenly she was leaning so close to me, and suddenly she was kissing me. The kiss finished as soon as I realized I was being kissed.
"Well, I guess I should get going." She said suddenly.
With that, she ran away, leaving me standing in the hallway, shocked, stunned, and very surprised.
