*POP*
I jumped at the sound, my pen jumped with me ruining my notes, not that I cared.
I looked behind me to see what had caused the sound that had startled me. The girl sitting behind me was chewing gum. She was off in her own little world, looking bored as ever.
I turned back around, focusing on the lecture and writing notes.
*POP*
It didn't scare me this time, but I looked back, slightly annoyed. The girl didn't notice me staring at her, she just blew another bubble that popped like the others.
I glared at her, she caught me glaring and smiled at me like she could care less that she was bothering me. I went back to my note-taking.
*POP*
I jumped this time, turning around to glare at her once again. She winked at me, smiling away. I rolled my eyes, sighing.
She blew a few more bubbles till it started to really annoy me.
"Can you stop?" I asked, turning around.
She just smiled and popped another bubble.
I groaned, glancing up at the clock. Only fifteen minutes left, I could survive.
I couldn't be happier when class ended.
The next day I sat down in my usual spot, getting out my notebook and pens.
"Hey."
I looked up to see the bubble-gum girl from yesterday sitting down in the seat next to me.
She titled her chair back, leaning it against the desk behind her.
I glared at her, she winked at me.
Well, this is going to be a long day, I thought to myself.
"Do you want some gum?" She asked.
