I came home from work and decided to take a shower. I was already standing underneath the water when I remembered that I didn't have any shampoo left. But hers was there, and she wouldn't mind.

I made myself some tea after my shower, she came home smiling.

"How was work?" I asked after she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Same old." She shrugged.

"Hey, I used your shampoo, hope that's alright."

"Ya, I don't care, just don't use it all up."

"Sure, I'll pick up some more when I go shopping on Saturday."

We chilled on the couch, she was on her phone, and I was reading a book.

I played with my hair, twirling it around in front of my face.

"I smell like you."

She laughed at me.

"I like it, I should always smell like you."

"But if you always smelled like me, eventually you would no longer smell like me, you would smell- like you."

She smirked as though proud of her quick response. I just snorted and went back to reading my book, her beautiful smell lingering about me.
