Y/N POV

The next morning, I woke up in my bed. I don't know how I got there, but I'm still in my dress. I take a shower and change into sweats and a hoodie. I tie my hair into a messy bun as I walk into the kitchen to find Ethan sitting at the kitchen island. Next to him is a plate of french toast, he doesn't say anything, but I know something's wrong. Without any words, he motions me over to sit next to him.

"Morning, what's up with you?"

"Just eat." He says blankly. I don't hesitate and feed myself breakfast. An awkward silence grows between us I eat, he just watches. What a weirdo.

"So, are you gonna tell me what's up?" I say, finish the last of my french toast.

"Yeah, I can't believe you. I thought you were better than this." His face is stern, yet broken.

"What are you talking about?" My voice is calm and low, I know better than to start an argument.

"Do you know how you got home?" I shake my head. "Well I'll give you a hint, I did. I drove you home. It was already 2:00 and you weren't home. Now, I'd think you or Daniel would have the courtesy or common sense to text us you'd be late, but I guess you can't do that if you were busy hooking up." His face is red with anger, my eyes go wide. We all know I would never do that.

"Ethan, what the heck! We did not hook up! You have to believe me! We fell asleep! That's it! Nothing happened!" He looks away, ignoring every word, tears begin to form along my eyes.

"You're going on the pill." He says quietly. Tension begins to rise and my tears form quicker.

"Ethan! Are you for real!? Nothing happened and you know it!" I try to swallow the lump in my throat, but my voice just comes off even shakier than before.

"You can't be too sure, y/n. We can't risk anything." He keeps his eyes far away from me. Is he serious? You're telling me what to do but can't even look at me in the eye? Suddenly, anger rushes down my spine.

"We?! WE!? Even if anything did happen, which nothing did, it wouldn't effect you. You're not Daniel, you're not me, and you're not Mom or Dad! And last time I checked Ethan, you're not my parent, or even my legal guardian. I know you're not the most thrilled person to see me with a boyfriend, but I thought you'd actually be for once, just once, happy for me. Did it ever occur to you that I'd want a little bit of what you got? All the girls craving for your attention, always feeling the love. Did it ever slip into your mind that I wanted that? Just a little of it. So that's how it is now? There isn't enough room for both of us to be happy, well screw it. I hope you're happy now."

I leave the kitchen and back rush into my room, tears streaming down my face. I ignore any words Ethan say to save himself, he shouldn't be wasting his breath. I lie down on my bed for a good hour, ignoring all texts and calls. Eventually, a soft knock comes from my door.

"Go away Ethan." I say, my face muffled in my tear stained pillows.

"It's not Ethan." a soft voice replies. Daniel. I sit up, trying to wipe the tears off my face. My hair's an absolute mess, my eyes are puffy, my breath screams french toast, I'm a wreck.

"I'm not really in the mood Daniel, sorry."

"I understand. Well when you're in the mood, I'll be here." I look towards the door. Out of curiosity, I get up, walk over and open the door. I'm greeted by Daniel, leaning against the door frame, arms crossed. He smiles at the sight of me and stretches one arm to the other side of the door frame.
