A/N - Kate's pajamas^^

KATE
Not long after the sun went down, we all got up, brushing the sand off of us before heading back to Axel's car. I helped Max into the trunk, shutting the door before wrapping a towel around myself and heading to the front seat.
Axel handed me his phone and I played 'Jump' by Julia Michaels, watching everyone bob their heads to the beat, even Amy who hadn't even liked the song at first. Axel put his hand in mine and began to reverse out of the beach parking lot.

"Kate, Axel is so hot," Corey whispered into my ear once we get inside.
"I know, right?" I whispered back.
I took off Max's leash and he started shaking, spraying saltwater everywhere.
"Oh, Max," I said with a groan.
He just looked up at me, his tongue dangling out of his mouth.
Kyle and Amy followed shortly behind me, almost hitting me with the front door.
"Shit, sorry, Kate," Kyle smirked, biting back a chuckle. "Didn't see you there."
I just rolled my eyes at him before following Corey up the stairs. Once we reached my room, I let her shower in my bathroom while I tried my best to dry off Max.
Kyle and Amy disappeared into the guest room, shutting the door behind them.
"You two better not be going at it!" I called to them, hearing a chorus of giggles follow behind me.
I heard a soft moan and I rolled my eyes. "Guys, I mean it! Cut the shit!"
Corey poked her head out of my bathroom, her prominent collar bone sticking out, as she stretched her head out further so that she could be heard more clearly when she yelled, "Hey, Kyle! Cut that shit out right now! We have innocent ears in this room! And yes, I mean the dog! Don't make me come in there!"
I smirked at her. "I'm pretty sure he's making Amy do just that."
Corey slapped her hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh.
Sure enough, we heard a loud moan, definitely coming from Amy, and Corey rolled her eyes. "Watch this," she said and disappeared into the bathroom.
Once she emerged, she was wearing only a towel and she took Max by his collar and led him to the guest room. Seconds later, I heard screeches echo down the hall and Max barking.
Corey winked at me. "That dog is the best decision your dad's ever made," she said before disappearing back behind the door of my bathroom, the sound of the shower running reaching my ears. With a sigh, I headed down the hall, opening the door to the guest room, letting Max out, apologizing shyly to Kyle and Amy.
I grabbed a pair of pajamas, a linen white top, and navy blue plaid shorts, before heading down the stairs to the spare bathroom, Max following right behind me.
I managed to get him to hop into the bathtub and grabbed a shampoo that I hoped was okay for dogs, before running the bath. I got up to grab a cup from the kitchen to use to scoop the water before heading back into the bathroom, crouching back onto the floor.
I turned off the water once it reached the middle of his legs and lathered the shampoo into his fur before washing it all away quickly with the water so that it wouldn't hurt his skin. Once he smelled like daisies, I washed all the soapy water down the drain and wiped him down with the towel, kissing his head. He licked my face and wagged his tail, spraying bathwater all over the bathroom walls.
Once he was dry enough, I opened the bathroom door and he jumped out of the tub, looking back to make sure that I was following him. I followed him until he reached the kitchen before jogging back into the bathroom, shutting the door before he can get in. He whimpers at the door, scratching it.
"I have to shower, Max," I whisper loud enough for him to hear me.
He stopped scratching but continued whimpering while I turned the shower on and stripped out of my bathing suit. I used the same shampoo that I'd used on Max, feeling the water wash away all the lingering salt and sand from the ocean. Once I was clean, I shut off the shower, grabbing a yellow towel that my father had draped over the shower in case if one of my friends had decided to use this bathroom.
Drying off, I stepped into my pajamas, and wrapped the towel around my head, opening the door. Max looked up at me, wagging his tail happily.
"Did you miss me?" I asked him, crouching down to kiss his head.
Suddenly, the towel fell off my head and he shook it off, making me laugh. My damp hair draped around my face, brushing against my exposed shoulders, making me shiver. After picking my towel off the floor, I declared, "Let's go upstairs," gesturing for him to follow me. He did, his tail wagging excitedly the whole way back to my bedroom door.
