Injured

A few days after, I didn't feel any better ngunit hindi ko ito pinakita.

Phoenix has been an asshole. He never replied to any of my messages asking about his whereabouts. I would always try and communicate with him whenever I see him or at least smile at him but when I realized that he was actually ignoring me, I stopped trying.

Kung ayaw niya akong pansinin, bahala siya sa buhay niya.

Nagmumukha lang akong clingy na wala namang karapatan.

Despite this, I acted normally.

Pumasok na rin si Winter. He sits next to Phoenix during Literature now dahil sa tabi ko na umuupo si Sky.

Hindi ko naman masyadong pinansin si Sky. Normal lang naman ito sa kanya dahil alam niyang ganito lang talaga ako.

After class, as always, I waited for the people to vacate the first. Phoenix went out of the room almost immediately. Pinauna ko naman si Sky na pumunta kina Elle. But to my surprise, Winter also stayed.

Tumayo nalang ako at hindi na siya pinansin.

"Saf!" he called when I reached the door.

"What?" I asked.

"Can we go to the lake later?" he asked.

I haven't been to the lake for a long time. Hindi na ako pumunta doon ulit simula nang malamang kong may nakakaalam na rin sa lugar na iyon.

Things have been stressful. Maybe this is the right time to go back there.

"Fine," tugon ko. He smiled at me and opened the door.

Inunahan ko na siyang lumabas ng classroom at naglakad patungo sa sunod kong klase.

"I'll text you," he said. Hindi na ako tumugon.

Mabilis na natapos ang mga klase ko. We had a few quizzes on different classes and once we've finished, we were free to leave. Mabilis ko lang na natapos ang mga iyon kaya naman ay maaga rin akong umalis.

I texted Winter and told him that my classes are over. He replied and said that his class will end in about thirty minutes and asked if I could wait for a little while. I just texted him an 'Okay.'

Pumunta nalang muna ako sa cafeteria and hung out with Elle, Doll, and Sky dahil wala pa naman si Winter. I decided not to tell them that I'd meet with him though. They would make a big deal out of it and I haven't told them anything about last night nor am I in the mood to do so.

"Tita posted pictures of you at the party! You look freaking gorgeous!" Doll said as she stared at her phone in awe. Nacurious naman si Elle kaya dumungaw ito sa phone ni Doll. Ganun rin naman ang ginawa ni Sky na lagi nang sumasama sa amin.

I don't mind. She's not that annoying. Besides, the two likes her and she doesn't seem too bad.

"OMG! The gown!" Elle said as she also stared at the phone in amazement.

"The whole look!" sabi ni Doll. I can see her scrolling probably to see the other photos my mom photos.

"Saffron looks cute too!" sabi ni Elle.

"Wow, your whole family is gorgeous!" sabi naman ni Sky.

I just sighed and let them gush about the photos. Nakahalumbaba lang akong nakatingin sa kanila habang kumakain ng fries.

"Wait!" biglang sabi ni Elle. Napatigil naman si Doll sa pagscroll.

They both gasped almost at the same time.
