Shisui had just moved into his new house he was seventeen years old, his new neighborhood looked nice. He lived by himself his mother had died during birth and his father was sick with an illness that by seven he didn't even know who he was, and when he was eight he sadly passed away.
But the mayor of this town had a little program, that let kids sixteen and older live by themselves and the city pay for rent and stuff for them. What the kids gave in return nothing really, I guess it's just to get them ready for adult hood. Which confused him because they pay for there house, but four months before your eighteen they stop so that's when they stop and you have to pay for your own shit.
Honestly for shisui it was a win win for him, but anyways enough about that. He was getting settled in when he hears a knock on his door, he was confused but goes to open up. He sees a nice couple as his door, there stood a man with short dark brown hair with a split and two pieces hanging an inch from his eyes. He had onxy black eyes and something underneath his lips, he wore a nice green kimono type thing with some grey pants and sandles, he was tanish.
Next to him stood a woman with long raven hair and some bangs, she had onxy eyes and was pale. She wore a black long sleeved shirt and a tanish long skirt with a tanish apron and shoes. " Hi were the neighbors next door, I'm mikoto uchiha and this is my husband fugaku uchiha " the woman said.
" Oh hi I'm shisui " shisui said, " oh hello shisui are your parents home? " She woman said, " nope my parents are dead " he said casually. " Oh, so who are you living with? " Mikoto said, " hmm I'm doing this whole thing with the town. Basically I live by myself but four months before I'm eighteen they stop paying for everything. It's to get me ready for adult hood, I don't see how but eh " he said.
" Oh it's nice to meet you, uh I baked you some cookies " Mikoto said holding a plate out to him. " Oh thank you ma'ma " shisui said, " well if you ever need anything, were just nextdoor " mikoto said. " Oh ok, have a nice day Mr. And Mrs. Uchiha " shisui spoke, " okay bye " both said and shisui closes the door, they were really nice people.

So whenever shisui wasn't at school he would help mikoto with chores around her house. Mikoto took a liking to him quickly so did fugaku, shisui soon met her youngest son sasuke. The two hit it off but he's never met itachi, but thought maybe he's a busy kid I mean she did say he was in eleventh grade and in highschool.

Shisui was over at Mikoto's house, sasuke really wanted to play with someone so shisui said why not. Mikoto was in the kitchen making lunch, fugaku was at work. Sasuke and shisui were playing with sasuke dinosaurs and cars, having fun but the sound of the front door alarmed shisui. He turns back and sees a boy, he looked to have long raven hair with bangs on his sides a split in his hair, dull onxy eyes and pale skin, with stress marks going down his face. He wore a baggy black pullover hoodie on, baggy black jeans, black shoes and a backpack around his shoulders.
" Itachi sweetie welcome home " mikoto chirps back in a song like tone, " hello mother " in said in such a emotionless tone. Shisui looks at him, this boy had such a sad aura around him, everything about him screamed for help. " Itachi this is shisui, the boy I've told you about " mikoto said referring to him.
" Nice to meet you " shisui spoke holding a hand out to him, " uh yeah " he spoke in such a emotionless voice, not bothering to shake his hand. " I'm going to my room " he said and turned away, strangely he just met him, but he didn't want him to walk away he wanted him to stay. This confused shisui, it's like he felt obligated to help this boy and not leave him alone.
