Harry had been thinking it over, what if his soulmate was really Dr—Malfoy. Would those grey eyes be the reason he questioned his sexuality? If he ended up liking boys too what would his friends thoughts be? Maybe he was over thinking it. Mason had gone to talk with Kate, supposedly he would have an answer later. He wondered why the pair were so important to all this, it didn't add up. Harry sighed in exasperation. His thoughts muddled his ability to work properly as he thought of the possibilities.
It was late afternoon and classes were over. Dinner would be in an hour, Harry couldn't sit around anymore. He had been in a stupor for to long, he had let himself get to drawn to the new ideas. He got up and headed, to where he wasn't sure, but to somewhere. He took a few short strides out of the commons and saw Professor Lupin walking toward him. "Hello Harry I was just coming to find you." He stated. "What is it Professor?"
"I was wondering if you would like to up my offer to teach you?" He asked. After the incident on the train he had asked Harry if he wanted to learn to defend himself from the dementors. He had agreed, but hadn't followed through yet. "Sure Professor, when would be good?"
"How about after dinner this evening?"
"Yes thank you Professor" he said, Lupin nodded and headed back down the stairs. Harry decided it best to follow suit, going toward the Great Hall. He was then reminded he had a quidditch match this coming weekend as he passed the trophy case. Practices had been very difficult due the cold and rain. Harry suspected it was the dementors fault but couldn't do anything about it. He sat down at the Gryffindor table next to Mason who turned to him.
He looked like he wanted to say something. "What's up Mason?" He questioned trying to clear the air. "So, Kate told me she knows someone who has a tattoo of me on their back and we have a sneaking suspicion that you two are soulmates," before he could ask who it was Mason continued, "however to not tamper with fate we have decided it will remain our secret till you two figure it out," he finished.
Harry heaved a sigh. He knew that was coming and was very disappointed. Mason bowed his head "sorry I couldn't be of more help to you." Harry shook his head. He knew he would find them somehow. Fate had its own way of bringing things about. It was pulling him miles away and out of reach from them.
Harry looked up from his hands just in time to see Draco Malfoy gracefully walking toward his seat robes billowing behind him. His eyes full with a burning desire, for what Harry couldn't say, but it was captivating.
I hope you enjoyed that chapter. You have all been telling that they are both oblivious, and well yes I agree I also think that them dancing around each other is funny! So you get to deal with it for a bit longer! If you did like the chapter please comment and vote! I love you all!
