Chapter~23

Laughter filled the winter air as tiny diamonds fell from the heavens blanketing the ground in a delicate sparkle. The sun peeked through to say hello every once in a while, spreading warmth over peoples faces. Harry couldn't have picked a better place to be. The nature's beauty combined with the white rose petal who sat listening to his mindless rants, about things that shouldn't matter in that moment.

His rose petal sat proper, but laughed as though he hadn't before. It was joyous, unrelenting and Harry wanted to bask in it forever. Their time together was cut short however as the bell rang for students to head back. "See you soon Draco!" He waved and smile, becoming invisible once again. "Yes, see you soon Harry" Draco called. Harry took out the parchment. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" he tapped the parchment with his wand.

The words dissolved onto the page. Harry opened it up checking his path back into the castle. It was currently clear but if he didn't want to be caught he'd have to hurry. He took a shortcut around the shops and entered through the backdoor of Honeydukes, to make it less suspicious. He watched the map, nobody was around his exit. He made it back into the castle sprinting up to the dorms to make it before the rest of the students.

He made it to the Fat Lady, yanking off his cloak he said "hogs feet," she clicked her tongue and let him pass mumbling something about kids these days being impatient. Harry walked up to his dorm room, Hedwig screeched happily as he entered flying to his shoulder. She screeched again. He looked at her, and pet her head. He noticed a letter tied to her leg. He opened it up.

Dear Mr.Invisable Lolipop,
I was wondering if we could be in each others company again. I enjoyed our conversation immensely. Although you do need to be more careful how you use that cloak. I mean you were so careless.

I will be staying here at Hogwarts for break. My sincere hope is that you can find some to put aside for just us. Please notify me of your availability. I can't wait to learn about those things you call "microwaves".

Harry snickered, of course. How could he possibly decline? He would have to first check with Ron and Hermione before scheduling any meet ups with Draco. He laid on his cot with a happy sigh. A secret soulmate meetup, it sounded pretty legit.

With that thought the door slammed open. A sweaty looking Ron walked through. "Hey mate, I brought you a souvenir since you couldn't come with us," Ron tossed him a bag. Harry looked inside and saw a lollipop. He laughed "thanks Ron you didn't have to"

"Well of course I did I am your best friend," he smiled. "Would you accept me if I liked men?" Harry asked suddenly. Ron looked a bit startled by the outburst, but he smiled again. "I don't care if you like blokes, it's your life not mine I have no place to judge. Besides it's not like your the first. Ginny was out before you, she likes chicks and blokes."

"Thanks Ron, I wanted to make sure because my soulmate is a dude" he confessed tearing up a bit. "No worries mate, and good luck with your destined one. By the way who is it?"

"I don't think you'll like it if I tell you"

"It can't be that bad, I promise not to freak"

"O-okay, it's it is Draco Malfoy" he breathed out.
