Their luck during the next few weeks wasn't great. Actually they hadn't really seen each other since that night, except in class. Draco was a little frustrated by this fact. He and Harry were supposed soulmates and for some reason they didn't have the time of day. Winters doors were open, spring still a month and half away. The snow covered ground. Christmas soon to be and decorations all around the hall.

Draco hoped that Harry would have more time during the winter holiday. He couldn't go home this year because his father was taking a trip with his mother and he wasn't invited. He figured Harry wouldn't go home because his family was terrible. He also knew that all of his Slytherin friends were leaving. This was good because he didn't want to ruin his reputation. If he was seen as weak among his house he would surely be beaten.

He knew all to well what happened to people who let the guard down at the wrong time. You'd get stabbed in the back. It was awful.

Draco continued down the hall, today was the first day you could go to hogsmeade. Draco was ready excited to shop! Crabbe and Goyle had decided to tag along. This at the time didn't bother him, but it would drive him up a wall later. He handed Filch his slip and strode down the dirt path. He went to Gladrags Wizard Wear to window shop. He found a lovely forest green silk dress robe with silver accents. After a bit of trying on he paid for the robe.

He left and headed for Honeydukes to get some pumpkin pasties. Before he could enter however he saw a floating lollipop come out of the store. Draco looked down and saw footprints. He began to follow said lollipop who picked up the pace. At this point Draco had lost Crabbe and Goyle. He continued after the sweet treat, until it stopped on the top of a hill over looking the streaking shack. It was unpopulated and quiet.

"Lollipop person stop running, your footprints give you away," Draco cautioned. In a blink of an eye Harry Potter stood before him. Of course how could he have forgotten. This beautiful dunce face had an invisibility cloak. "Hi prat," Harry smiled jokingly. "What are you doing hiding like that?"

"No way in heck my abusive uncle would sign my paper now would he."

"I guess your right," Draco paused and continued "can we hang out together, get to know each other. I feel like I barely know you."

"To be honest you know a lot more than most" Harry stated. "I know, but I want to know silly things like your favorite color or where do you like to take naps on hot summer day?"

"Sure, and to answer your questions I like sky blue and I like to take naps in the astronomy tower because the floor is cold but light that comes through the windows is warm."

"Do you have any questions for me?" He asked as he sat down on a rock. Harry followed suit while tapping his chin. "Have you ever been to a fast food place and what is your favorite color?"

"I like emerald green and what the heck is fast food?" Harry snickered and said "Let me teach you." For the next half hour Harry explained to him what fast food was along with some other essential muggle knowledge as he called it. He learned about planes, phones and many other weird gadgets. He was intrigued and happy. He wanted to learn more and gain a new knowledge of the world he lived in, with his destined partner at his side.
