Chapter~33

Harry heard Draco gasp and turned to see what was so surprising. He too gasped, horrified by what he saw. It was a list of names each had a picture of the said person and a date. The scary part was that Harry saw his parents' pictures crossed out in red ink. As he observed the paper some more he found that the date next to their names was the day they died. "Draco the date by my parents' names is the day they died."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I think we should get out of here."

"Sounds good, before we go though I think we should free fawkes. That bird doesn't deserve this shit." Draco stated. "I agree" Harry concured walking over to the window and spreading it wide open. Fawkes hopped off his stand and glided out the window, screeching. Harry smiled and grabbed the invisability cloak. Draco rushed underneath not even a second before the office door opened revealing the one and only Dumbledore. Harry wanted to stay , but their escape was now or never. They rush through the slowly closing door as silently as possible. They only heard a small snippet of Dumbledore saying "That blasted bird why can't it just stay p-"

Draco and Harry walk down the stairs, sighing in relif. "That was close," Draco breathed, " to close."

"You said it, I am glad we freed Fawkes. Dumbledore is a terrible owner." Harry replied. Draco nodded in agreement. They walked to an abandoned hallway and took the cloak off. Harry folded it and put it in his book bag. Draco added the blue folder to Harry's book bag as well. Harry shut his bag. They continued in silence till they heard a low whining. Harry looked at Draco who shrugged. They both began to look for its source. Draco waved his hand, beckoning Harry over to a corner by a giant stained glass window. Harry saw a big black dog, it was bleeding from one of its paws. Harry looked back at Draco, "can we help it Dray? Please it's so cute!"

"Of course love, stand back. Eskipy!" He said, the injured paw healing. The dog stood up and walked over to Draco licking his hand. Draco smiled and said "It was no problem buddy." The dog then went over and licked a kneeling Harry all over his face. "Down, Down, I love you too!" Harry had to stand up to stop the dog, Who barked happily. "Hey Harry, we should go." Draco declares. "Ok, bye bye doggy" Harry coos. As Draco and Harry are walking away, they hear footsteps. They turn to see the dog following them. "The doggy likes us Draco, I think he will just keep following us." Harry explained. "We could keep him,'' Draco suggested. Harry turned to the dog and asked "Do you want us to take care of you?" Surprisingly, the Dog nodded in response. "Draco, it understands us,"

"I noticed, well come on dog, you can stay in my dorm," Draco stated.
